Halo 4 Melee System changes

Just wondering on everyones thoughts on the Halo 4 melee system and what you think it should be like?

I think it should be similar to the end of H3 melee system.

What I don’t want is every time I get meleed to have my reticule pushed away in strange random directions as well as my players pushed away. Clean like Halo 3s would be nice or something similar but definately not to get pushed around every melee battle.

Reduce melee damage down to like, 30% and re-introduce melee combos that was seen in Halo2s trailer before being removed.

why so low?

Definitely bring back bleedthrough, and hopefully we will have dedicated servers as well. If so, it should be first one to melee gets the kill. I don’t want the trading kills thing back again.

Why shouldn’t there be bleed through?

Not having bleedthrough gets rid of the advantage (giving more damage onto you than you have on them) someone gets over you by allowing them to chuck 2 or 3 melees in.
Is it fair to the player with the more accuracy or smarter tactics through surprising to lose his advantage?
Bleedthrough takes alot of skill

Bleedthrough with a weak enough melee that it doesn’t kill a full health player with shields up is perfect.

Edit: Because this way damage already done carries over when shields pop from a melee while preventing a cheap three bullets + pummel combo on a shielded player.

You can not believe how hard it is to suppress the urge to make a witty retort.

Bleedthrough doesn’t take skill because of the AR Deathcharge.

As halo 4’s health system is similar to Halo 3’s I would likes to seen H3 style melee system

I hate the 1 in Reach ATM …

Really? That is your argument? How does the AR “deathcharge” by itself prove that bleedthrough through all weapons and situtions is unskillful? If you a dumb enough to be killed an AR charge then that how your argument came to be I guess…

Lol, I do not understand why you are against melee bleed through. It just makes more sense.

Bullet bleed through, I can understand, but melee bleed through is so much more intuitive than non bleed through.

Also, I’m just hoping they get the melee system right because I don’t want to have to wait for another patch. just look at what people wanted in halo 2 and 3 and copy that.

No melee bleed through means that a person who got three BR shots on someone who got no shots off puts them on equal ground at point blank range.

I’m not going to get into why that’s -Yoinking!- stupid.

you dont need to since you explained why…or gave a reason to others why bleed through is good
