im not even upset by this. its something we should all expect, vanilla halo got worse with every sequel, were just idiots to keep expecting things to change for the better. the halo 1 players who didnt move on to halo 2 had it right all along.

Halo 1 was a good game.
I don’t want to step on any toes here, but I think what made Halo 1 great for it’s time was that everything so unbalanced, ergo making everything balanced.
Which worked great actually! But that’s how I view it. I guess if we had another game where everything was unbalanced, it would then be balanced.
And don’t flame me here, but I think Modern Warfare 2 did this perfectly. Everything was so god darn powerful and crazy, it was balanced. So in a way Halo 1 is like CoD. Quick kill times and pseudo-balance by unbalance. But that is where the the similarities stop.

It’s reading. Not very hard. Plus, you just offered your opinions on various topics of discussion, so I was able to skip the parts about the actual information. But post another version without the opinions anywhere you can. It gives good info.
I’ll probably keep my opinions in at the bottom…if people want to take my opinion, after I clearly said it was my opinion and had the true facts up top as flame bait and reason to argue…their fault. Not mine.

Yes, because you’re TOTALLY speaking for every Real halo fan right now… I want Halo 4 as it is for a new experience. You need to look up ‘‘Real fan’’

I understand people’s concerns, but when such blind, ignorant and arrogant elitism shows up even when Halo 4 will be able (99% sure) to be played any way they want and do it good…that’s when it gets annoying.

Agreed. (You may wanna remove the part about strangle, i just threatened him xD)
Except no matter what limited things they do, i will still be a better player then most and beat ARs with my BR at every range. So far it seems that they’re trying to make the game less Halo and more casual/mainstream or whatever you want to call it. Removing spawn times, randomizing weapon spawns, and other things make the original game less fun. Reach has a pathetic populace because it isn’t fun. MLG just became fun (finally!) , invasion is alright with friends, and i guess so are the other playlists in small samples. I would prefer to have my game fun so i’m not secluded to MLG. Occaisonally, i want to play another playlist with a large group of friends and be allowed to relax. I’d prefer if that had worth wile maps and settings. The vanilla should be the old experience. There should be specific playlists for all the other junk, not the other way around. And by old, i don’t mean it should devolve to bare bones Halo 1 again. It should be properly fleshed out, but still be very similar to past games. And finally, there should be a ranking system so that new players don’t play experienced players. That solves 343i’s stupid excuse for the weapon drops and junk. Timings, teamwork, your indvidual shot, and power weapon control are why Halo is Halo. Not instant respawns, sprinting to power weapons, purchasing in game stuff. I miss Halo 3’s way of collecting new armors anyway.

Nice. Very well thought out and summarizes most of my opinions about Halo 4.
I love your optimism in this post and I respect that.
On that thought, some people who are die-hard Halo fans, including myself, don’t think that everything 343i is including in Halo 4 is necessary. Some of this stuff frankly, makes me have doubts about this. Don’t get me wrong, Halo is my life, but there are some things that just seem…off, about what this franchise is coming to.
We will just have to wait and see what 343i does with it this Holiday.

Oh, a real Halo fan, eh? Well who are you to tell who is and who isn’t a halo fan? Honestly, you guys think you know everything.
The Halo we’ve been waiting for for 8 years is the one in which Halo 2 has an ending.
I don’t know who is waiting for Halo 4, Halo 3 was pretty stupid, Halo Reach was exponentially dumber and ODST gets off because the Firefly cast is awesome.
Not to mention the steady decline in MP quality.
