The medals so far look dull and boring. I really hope that the ones we saw at e3 aren’t final. They look so weird. Can anyone tell me if they are placeholders or if they are final?
They aren’t final, the game is a beta stage. The medals aren’t the finished product, the finished product it will be polished.

Funny, they seem more colorful to me.
In terms of final or not, after e3 final modifications are being made, but more than likely what your seeing will be an accurate representation of what it will look like retail.
Frankie said the medals aren’t subject to dramatic change. So don’t count on them changing too much. People complained about the medals in Halo: Reach as well. But ultimately it’s not not necessary to be so picky.
Unless you plan on paying more attention to medals then gameplay then you may want to not play.
