This is a thread because i am going to RTX this weekend where Halo 4 will be shown on saturday.
I plan to go to this, play and answer any questions people may have throughout the day and after.
So just post as many question as you can and if i get to play it i will try my best to answer them to the fullest

Not in this build, It might just be because it isnt finished, but the helmets all look cool in person and there are many other customizable parts. Ex. Helmet, shoulder, forearm, torso, Leg/kneepads (which i feel will be split up into three categories [knee, thigh, and calf])

In the Forge Demo, i saw a return to battlefield countdown thing so my guess is hard/soft kills.

Okay so i was one of many people that got to play the Infinity Slayer gametype, and i liked it so much that i went back in line after the Halo 4 Panel and played Regicide too. To be honest, I wrecked. winning the Regicide game and being VIP in I.T.S.
Here is my opinion.
First off, This feels like Halo. But if someone pushed the fast foward button. everything is faster, including kill times.
Second, IT SOUNDS AMAZING. Every weapon and sound was right on and sounded fantastic
5sk BR is GREAT and NO the carbine is not overpowered. the AR is USEFUL! YES, for the first time since CE the AR is an effective weapon. Promethean/Forerunner Vision is NOT OP. practcally useless. I discussed this with the guy next to me and he agreed. Personally i chose thruster pack. and YES everything is balanced in I.T.S… Somehow (the genius work of 343) IT IS BALANCED. it works, carbine and BR beat DMR close range. DMR beats Carbine and BR longrange. Noob combo isnt even as effective as before. AR/SR beat Carbine/BR at even closer range. Sprinting DOES NOT hinder gameplay in the least.
Regicide was AWESOME. constantly fighting for the top. and when at the top FIGHTING TO THE DEATH to defend your position of hierarchy is very fun. This is also coming from someone who generally dislikes FFA.

FORGE AT THE HALO PANEL.
The first words out of my mouth at this panel?
“Holy -Yoink-.”
First things first.
You know copy and paste? well that is essentially in H:4. With duplicate, just hitting it on the D pad takes that same object and duplicates it in your hold.
Active lighting. Forge objects now cast active shadowing when in Player mode. doesnt sound like much but makes a huge difference.
Interesting objects. No longer will you suffer from dull gray. yes there is silver around and about and some gray. But the bottom line is, Forge objects do not all just look the same, except different sizes. They all look interesting.
Locking Objects. Dont want to accidentally drag this away? LOCK IT DOWN. with a D pad tap you can lock your object down. making it immobile. You can unlock locked objects, but cannot move locked objects no matter what.
Highlighter. The object you are looking at is highlighted in green. locked objects in red. this helps digging out merged objects or objects in a pile.
Trait zones. Hey, you there. Do you like low grav rooms? WELL NOW YOU CAN MAKE EM. THATS RIGHT. TRAIT-MOTHER–Yoinking!–ZONES.
You can adjust the height, radius, bottom of these zones (also length and width for rectangles)
Basically you can customize it so that anything that goes into that area will be affected by the traits. Be it Camo, invulnerabilit, player speed, etc. (basically the base player traits in reach except in a zone)
