I am not sure if this is the proper place to bring up this topic, but I am also curious as to if others have been experiencing this same issue.
I was playing MCC offline today (using data to make this post), and I decided to go back and finally finish my Normal playthrough of Halo 4 to complete the series on Normal. I resumed my progress on the mission Reclaimer, and it started me from the beginning. No big deal there, I expected that after not having played for so long.
What I did not expect, however, was that after destroying the second particle cannon and moving on, the entire rest of the map failed to load in. The Mammoth continued along its path in midair, and if I fell off I instantly died. When the game wanted me to get off to continue on foot, the map still hadn’t loaded in and I died once again. It restarted me at a checkpoint, and the map still continued to fail to load properly.
My question is, is this a well-known bug, or did I perhaps just end up with a bad install of Halo 4 and should uninstall and reinstall it when my internet is back up? Any advice or help is greatly appreciated.
