Halo 4 + MCC Collection question(s)

I have been playing the MCC Collection on the Xbox One (the only Xbox console I own) and I am wondering
about Halo 4 for the 360, that in the 360 version that you can actually vote for the maps you play on –
in Halo 4 on the MCC in the ‘small-to-medium’ sized maps playlist, there are like 9 maps total.

4 of the maps of the 9 are almost always the ones you’re playing despite there being like 9
(you vote on 3 maps before a match starts and get 1). After that round ends, it exits you to the main menu
where you click the same playlist if you want to play again and again get the voting process.

I am wondering if on the 360 for Halo 4 you can actually choose 1 of those 9 maps specifically without this
voting process?

No, it’s still a three-map vote even on the 360. And you still end up playing the same two or three maps every time, mostly Haven. One advantage of MCC is that everyone has the DLC maps and they often come up (Skyline, Monolith, Landfall, etc.) - they never come up on the 360.

One advantage of playing Halo 4 on the 360 is that it’s easier to find the games you want. On the MCC, I usually want to play Team Slayer on Halo 4. Well, playlists catered to one specific Halo game have both slayer and objective, and it annoys me when I get objective several times in a row. Furthermore, game specific playlists include multiple Halo games, so I may get into the right game type but on the wrong game engine.

And don’t even get me started on what they did to Halo 4 BTB for MCC. It’s a travesty.
