What has happened to all of the blood and violants?
By the looks of it, it seems that 343 have forgot its a 16+ game so they should stop worrying about the stupid MLG sweatfits and 8 year olds that roam the forums making the game crappy and make a good old fashion halo again.
MLGSweatfits = Player who is dominant over a multi-player match and lives in his moms basement playing nothing but team slayer and complaining his DMR is underpowered and AL should be in H4.

Sigh… and people wonder why 343 don’t take this forum seriously.
But really Halo was never much of a bloody game and I never thought it really deserved an M rating. There have only been like what 3 cuss worlds in the entire Halo series and gore is almost gone.

Well if it helps, 343i are going for a darker story this time around. Can’t remember were it was confirmed and the post is quite harsh if I do say so myself…

You think maturity can only be obtained through blood and gore? That’s pretty childish in and of itself you know. Halo: CE was originally going to be rated T anyway but the Flood ensured an M rating because of their gore. After that, games in the same series usually get the same rating.
How does MLG affect the game’s rating?
And where did you come to the conclusion that blood would be altered and there would be less violence?
How the game is played, as in competitive or casual, has absolutely no affect on the age rating. The blood, gore, and language does.
MLG has no affect on the age rating. 8 year olds have no affect on the age rating.
Games are rated by how they are, as in how much blood or gore there is. Games are not made to fit a rating, you seem to forget this.

And how do you know this? We’ve seen hardly any footage of the multiplayer, and none from Campaign. How do you know there won’t be blood or violence? And how do you know 343 won’t implement something that makes Halo 4’s MLG better than any other Halo game so far? Answer these questions, and maybe then I’ll actually think about what you’re saying.
Halo doesn’t need gore and all that. Granted I enjoy the good bloody games like Doom, but when I think of gore, I’m thinking more of movies then video games.
