The leaked information is true, let’s accept that. However it doesn’t mean those changes will be implemented into all gametypes. It would be hard to believe gametypes like objective would have instant respawn (not that hard to believe after reading those links though). Upon gathering most of this information and core mechanic changes, I think it’s safe to say that Halo matchmaking will be as big or a bigger mess than Halo Reach.
Halo Reach was broken to start off with and once 343 showed up to the party they introduced the title update and about 37 playlists. If Halo 4 is to be anything like what 343 is doing with Reach, I’m guessing Matchmaking is going to be all over the place and a very confusing. Transitioning between playlists will probably mean great changes to core mechanics in every playlist.
I wouldn’t be surprised if every playlist had multiple sub-playlist for specific players.

And somehow we’ll probably end up with one ranked broken unplayed playlist.
