Halo 4 Matchmaking NEEDS!(PLEASE READ!)

Halo’s competitive side is beginning to die. Or already dead in reach. Except in one playlist. MLG. When I play MlG, it feels like halo 2/3 because we all have the same set of tools, and all you need to do is prove your skill. That’s what I mainly want back. So A classic playlist would be nice. No AA’s, no Ordinance drops, and no sprint. Okay, maybe sprint could be there for some gametypes. But Yeah. I want skill to come back.

Skill number is an essential thing needed in halo again. When I go into Reach and see an inheritor getting wrecked in like snipers. I know he’s bad with snipers. So our skill range is far apart. But if I get matched with a player with my similar skill sets, it’s a fair fight. So there should be an over all rank for all playlists, and also a skill set for each playlist. It’s what kept Halo 2 and 3 going for all these years. So why don’t we just take note. The past could be an effective tool for 343.

i despise the MLG playlist, as it’s all BR/DMR, and nothing else
and people rage at you if you aren’t a 5 star, bring-down-an-entire-army BR marksman

so i’m not sure i can support this very well…

but hey, that’s just me

Well, Obviously someone who can’t take down an entire army with a rifle has no place in the MLG playlist. /Sarcasm

The reason I love Halo so much and I didn’t like reach as much is because, in my opinion, Halo is a game where everyone starts off on equal terms. The deciding factors that help you win are 1: Your Team. 2: Your Weapons. 3: Your Skill. 4: knowledge of maps and spawns (Not spawnkilling, thats just boring). There should not be a 5th element in the game that determines who wins just by abusing an armor ability. Thats why I like sprint and sprint gametypes. Everyone starts off on level playing fields and better team wins. Simple as that. It shouldn’t be a “Rock, Paper, Scissors” outcome. If Halo 4 uses armor abilities, or even “custom loadouts”, it will probably break or even ruin the game.

TL;DR? Armor abilities ruined Reach due to unbalancing issues and if Halo 4 implements something along those lines, lots of people will be angry.

Off Topic: I have the worst memories in MLG, when I first tried out MLG in Reach, I had no idea what to expect. We ended up on Zealot: Neutral Flag, red team had the flag, my whole team was down, and from nearly the rest of the match we were spawn-killed in the exact same spot (no joke, we only lived 3 seconds before getting back-smacked) until the game ended~
And from this day on I despise Zealot.

Back on Topic:
I do agree with a better ranking system, 343 seem to have a new true-skill system.
Who knows.

I’d rather not run around with a God rifle, thank you. I’d rather play the game the way it was designed to be played. If MLG players are getting so frustrated that they’re leaving Halo, good riddance.
