Halo 4 Mark VI armor unlock glitch?

I completed the campaign solo on Legendary difficulty, and got both the “The Legend of 117” and “Lone Wolf Legend” achievements, but Halo Waypoint says that I haven’t completed missions “Requiem” and “Forerunner” on Legendary and so will not give me the Mark VI armor that I died so many times for. I have always been connected to Xbox Live while playing, so why didn’t they count? Is there any way that I can get the armor without almost throwing my controller again? Or should I break out my back-up controller/TV?

As you can now see from my avatar, I went and replayed those missions. I guess the internet must have cut out while I played them. I have the armor now though, and it was worth it, now I just need to complete the Forerunner Ordnance Mastery so I can get the Believe stance.

I would just play it again. I had to do the same thing to get the armor.

EDIT: Yeah, just re-do for now.

Did you save and quit, then start playing again on the 2 levels. That’s what stopped me from getting the armor.

In order to get the armor, you have to get all of the Player>Campaign commendations. In order to do this, you need to play through the whole mission starting at Rally Point Alpha (you can save, quit and resume, but you cannot start the mission over from a different rally point), and you need to make sure you are connected to Xbox LIVE the entire time.

I just checked even further into my Halo Waypoint stats, and one section says that I completed the whole campaign on Legendary, except where it shows missions 1-8, there it says the highest those two missions were completed was on heroic. I realise that I am going to have to re-do those, but this annoys me just a little. For everyone else that this didn’t happen to, it gave it to you right away, correct?

I did, but I did on most of the other levels as well, and I still got them.

False, unless they fixed it.

I made a smurf silver account to test, and I got Mark VI after starting each mission from the last checkpoint of every mission.

For OP, you just need to replay those two, and if you need help, I’m always available.

Yeah, I had to re-do a little over half the campaign because of that big ol’ “cannot connect to server” issue back in the winter. I know it hurts to do it, but that would be my advice for now. Make sure you are connected to Xbox Live.
