Halo 4 Maps/Gametypes Wishlist

What Maps and Gametypes would you like to see in Halo 4 from previous Halo games? Also, what new types of terrain or types of games would you like to see?

I would like to see completely unique maps that are NOT taken straight from the campaign. One or Two are fine, but not a whole map set. I would like a snow map and a nighttime map, there weren’t any in reach. -_- Also keep moving clouds!

Basically this, with a remade version of Sandtrap :smiley:
And I would like to see VIP make a return.

I want a remake of Terminal so badly.

Also, I want more “Map Hazards,” map interactions (switches, doors, gates, destructible set pieces, etc), and more asymmetrical maps.

I think I’d like another remake of Battle Creek.

I’d like a map with a massive 0-G area to put our thruster packs to good use.

I’d like a map with flooding water, maybe a crashed ship that’s wedged on some some rocks but surrounded by water, the ship is flooded.

I’d like a map that moves, maybe we are on some kind of forerunner dock that has been badly damaged, after a while a huge peace will fall in to the water killing everyone in it, the last bit will break in half but not fall in so the ground will seem slanted.

Some kind of survival mode would be really cool, maybe something like Floodfight (FireFight with Flood) where you can advance to new areas, buy weapons and ammo at certain locations, call in for backup (AI- ODSTs), get vehicles, and get more lives- never ends like ODST firefight, can play with up to 4 people.

Zombies more like Halo 3

Maps I’d like to see return: Relic, Burial Mounds, Colossus, Terminal, Sidewinder, and Blood Gulch

More snow maps would be awesome too and urban maps like Turf, but bigger

Also, less remakes of the campaign, and more focus on making alot of unique MP maps, even for Firefight.

I would like to see a mid sized Forerunner-jungle map. Think something like a ZAnzibar with Guardian skin on it, but with less open spaces and more roots and vegetation coming from the ground.

On top of that I would like to see maps with enviroments never seen in Halo. The game offers a great place for a BTB map in a Forerunner. It would be a great chance for remaking Headlong, but that’s probably not going to happen as we got it in Reach. I’d also like to see maps with just the basic enviroments we’ve seen before, and a nice balance between symmetric and asymmetric maps.

All maps should of course be as well made as in the first two games. But this alone isn’t enough. I want to see more depth to maps. What I mean by this is more jumps and routes that require trick jumping. The maps should be made so that as you learn more about the maps, instead of some routes becoming routine to you, you learn new and harder routes instead that will keep you interested in the map.

I’d really like to see Turf return, and in terms of gametypes, I’d just like to see gametypes that are fun to play and not frustrating from the random elements that Reach has. I’d like to feel like i earned kills again and didn’t have lucky spread, or get frustrated because i did everything right and still got killed due to unlucky spread.

On a non competitive note I would love to see the Infection gametypes more unique from the other gametypes, kind of like -Yoink!- zombis in cod. have an Omega journey remake with AI zombies.
