Now, after playing reach for quite a while now, i get quite frustrated when i want to play a DLC map in MM on a playlist like rumble pit but because of the large majority of people in that playlist do not have the map, i am forced to play the maps that came on release, now i dont mind these maps but when trying to go for achievements or wanting to play on a newer map this gets annoying.
A possible thing could be, in Reach there is a search filter (not a very good one but hear me out), in this you can obviously search by how chatty someone is and a persons playstle… sort of.
Now in Halo 4, if they could include a search filter in here for players who have the DLC, this would remove the need for making certain playlists DLC required and allow people to spend what they want to spend on the game.
Its just a possible idea that has come around due to the lack of times i am able to play on maps i want to play on whilst on Halo Reach.
If the filter only matched me with players that had DLC and the voting then brought up at least one DLC map in each round, then it would be worth it. I would wait longer to play matches with DLC, or even to just get it on the pregame ballot.
It would have to be an all or nothing thing, too, no toggle preferences for specific map packs, just one for all currently released DLC.
This could be doable, good thinking.

Yeah thats what i was thinking, i hope that there is this system in Halo 4 as it will make playing DLC maps that much easier rather than just blindly hoping for one to appear
This would also make it much easier to get those maddening DLC-only achievements they insist on putting in every DLC. Not only do I actually have to play Infection, and be Last Man Standing, but I have to wait until I can actually roll a match on Condemned?
