Halo 4 Map Remake

If 343i were to bring back one muliplayer map from Halo 4 for Halo 5 Guardians, which map would you want it to be? Explain below why you liked that map and why you think it would be a good remake. Here is the list of maps (Note: I’m leaving out Pitfall and Ragnarok on purpose):

-Abandon
-Adrift
-Complex
-Daybreak
-Erosion
-Exile
-Forge Island
-Harvest
-Impact
-Landfall
-Longbow
-Meltdown
-Monolith
-Outcast
-Perdition
-Ravine
-Shatter
-Skyline
-Solace
-Vertigo
-Vortex
-Wreckage

For me, it’s definitely a tie between Perdition and Skyline. I find Perdition to be fun when it comes to vehicle combat. In addition, I like its city atmosphere. Skyline is a great close quarters map. Again, I like its city atmosphere and I like how it’s a dark map.

I’d go with Adrift.
For some reason I like it more than the others.
Maybe it could be changed to a covenant design or a forerunner design. Without the gravity lifts to the bases.

The only map I like in Halo 4 is Meltdown (I had to google the map names). I’d take that map I guess.

Longbow

Skyline or Monolith.

But I’d rather have some Halo Combat Evolved or Halo 2 maps remade.

I’d be intent with a remake of Haven, which is easily one of my favorite maps ever.

Furthermore, if we can all remember the Xbox One promo that showed “Halo 5 - Infinity Slayer on Haven”, despite the namer their being placeholders, mayhaps “Haven” was a placeholder for a remake of Haven.

That would be cool. I would definitely like the covenant design. Maybe they could be building a Locust in the middle of the map as well.

Maybe. I would definitely like to see that map in Halo 5.

Haven is overdone and played out for me. It’s not even all that imo. I’d like to see

Longbow, but with wider traveling paths

Adrift, and Simplex made into a real map.

I find faults with pretty much all the on-disc maps, and Haven is not good enough to warrant a reskin, in my humble opinion.

I’d go with a DLC map, which I feel don’t get enough attention.

Perdition: great blend of vehicular and CQC battle

Skyline: arguably Halo 4’s best small map.

Daybreak: can’t play it enough because it never appears, but it’s great a Halo vibe; big space but medium lines of site, almost plays like trench warfare, which mitigates Jetpack overuse.

I don’t know if there was one map for me that stood out so much that I would ever want a remake of a Halo 4 map. Adrift and Haven are alright maps, but I don’t know if they are worthy of a remake.

I would go ragnarok again. Too fun of a map. I wouldn’t mind exile or settler being made again though. On the other hand I think we are guaranteed a sand trap remake due to all the desert hints.

I’m torn between two maps, Perdition, and Shatter. They are both great maps, and expanded the BTB experience brilliantly. It’s just such a shame that neither of them got a lot of attention due to the DLC being nigh-impossible to get.

None. I’m interested in vehicle combat, and Halo 4 had precisely zero good vehicular maps. Where are the wide-open spaces? Why are we constantly forced down corridors? Why are infantry given the advantage in what were supposed to be dedicated BTB maps?

I’d say one of the BTB maps, only because they are the least awful.

I’d say Perdition. Has a unique feel to it.

Out of the non-DLC maps? The only one I truly enjoy to the point of not minding a remake is Meltdown, since it’s reminiscent of Ice Fields from Halo PC, though Ice Fields would be a great remake. The rest of the maps in the game are rather…low on quality.

But out of all the DLC ones, the choice is a tad tougher. Skyline is quite a good map, as are Pedrdition and Daybreak.

I was not paticularly fond of any map on Halo 4. If I had to choose one map it would probably be Haven or Adrift.

Perdition.
