Buying the limited edition Halo 4 entitled me to the map packs for free.
Sounds great, but you can only download them if you play Halo 4 at the time of the map pack’s release. After that, the download prompt disappears and you cannot download it after that. I have only downloaded the first map pack, and cannot download any of the others because of this.
You can’t even BUY the map packs, they’re not even in the store. Just some avatar armor.
I have been trying to get help for this problem for over a year and have had 0 feedback. I’m not angry that I didn’t get what I was promised, I’m angry that they have made no attempt to help me with my problem.
I’m a huge halo fan and this whole situation is very disappointing to me coming from my favorite game developers.
If anybody has a fix, please let me know. I haven’t been able to find any, but maybe I just missed a post.

Are the maps viewable in custom games or forge? They should show with an exclamation mark next to them to indicate you don’t have them. Clicking on these should prompt you to download the required map pack. If this desn’t work or asks you to pay for them (which you shouldn’t seeing as you have the map pass) then follow this second method, which has worked for everyone who has tried it.
All you need to do is delete the map pass from your hard drive (it will show is the “Infinity Actual kit” and any map packs you already own. Then only re-download the Infinity Actual kit from your download history, located under the Account Management option by pressing the guide button and scrolling right to the Settings tab. Once you have re-downloaded the DLC, you can clear your System cache if you choose, although this isn’t confirmed to be necessary. Load up the game as normal, and when it checks for DLC content it should prompt you that the map packs are available and allow you to download them for free.
Hopefully this will get you up and running.
(p.s the map packs are in the Marketplace to buy, just not accessible from the in game store)

Unless it is not located under Halo 4 then I do not have an “Infinity Actual Kit”
In my harddrive
No, there are only two maps in forge/custom games that I do not have and clicking them does not prompt the download, and there is no Infinity Actual Kit on my harddrive.
When I go to download history and redownload it, it is still not on my hdd.
Also, if this is a common problem why hasn’t it been fixed?

Purchasing the Limited Edition of Halo 4 indeed grants you access to the War Games Map Pass. However, you will have to input the code included in your Limited Edition to unlock the War Games Map Pass. As Phil Mitchell62 said, once you download the War Games Map Pass and load up Halo 4, you’ll be prompted to download the DLC maps and can do so at no extra charge. Please let us know if this solves your issue.

Listen pal, I know you’re trying to be helpful, but I’ve had this game for over a year, I’ve had this code installed for a year.
I’m not a run of the mill clueless adult trying to figure out how technology works.
This is 100% your problem, as I’ve already downloaded some of the map packs.
The problem is, is that I cannot download any of the others.
Basically, what I’m asking is.

I fixed it.
The problem is, is that I was searching for something that wasn’t there.
Infinity Actual Kit is listed as Halo 4 Game Unlocks. Which is why I couldn’t find it.
