Could it be a map on a whale looking or whale named ship? Just the first thing that popped up in my head.
And it could also be a joke. We can’t really say now.

I’m going to guess it’s a Multiplayer Map that will take place in an Underwater Cave…maybe something like WaterWorks

And it would be pointless for microsoft to hold an event without the biggest game for 360 this year Oh and that embargo would make no sense too if there is no Halo4.
I have a theory, what if it is a clue to a Forerunner map? Scrimshaw are the tusks from marine mammals, they are used by sailors. Sailors are on boats, in Cryptum and Primordium they refer to ships as sky boats. What if the map has something to do with Forerunner ships? It could be a map that is inside of a Forerunner ship. This is just my theory, we all know how Frankie can be with his name clues. He can make it very difficult to interpret.

Perhaps we’ll be getting a map on a large whaling platform of some kind or …something related to water anyways.
Maybe it’s a Forerunner based map with carvings and marks everywhere?

If you want to get your hopes up thats fine but I don’t want to be disappointed AGAIN.
Doubt it’s a joke, I bet it has something to do with engineers taking apart machinery/technology. Or, even cooler, the map could take place in the skeleton of a colossal marine animal.
