Halo 4 Main Rifle Suggestion

Since the game is still more than a year away I guess it wouldn’t hurt to suggest the next marksman rifle. I was thinking of a cross between the last two. The return of the Battle Rifle in all of its glory from Halo 3 (which kind of makes sense since you’re heading back to the main plot of Halo) but with an alternative fire similar to the DMR. The difference is these shots would be paced with no bloom.

The alternative fire would be balanced in this way: Being the shots are paced it could still be a 5 shot kill but would only be quick enough to beat the standard fire at longer range.

Meh, it was a hairbrained idea. How about the community. What are your suggestions?

I’d like the BR back, the DMR is alright but I favor the BR a lot more

Call it the CSR - Compromised Spartan Rifle :smiley:

Or you could call it the Compact Spartan Rifle in-game

the normal br should be fine and the carbine too
