Is anybody else extremely happy that the main menu is still a chant like the trilogy had? Although being a different one
At first it almost sounds God Of War-ish… However once I listened again, it’s absolutely fitting for Halo. Gave me chills.
Easily my favorite theme since the first Halo.

Maybe we’ll get a volume 2, Like they did with Halo 2.
I like it once the French horn kicks in, but before that it was a little grating. I don’t want to have to listen to something like that every time I play the game, Halo 3 was perfect–short chant, then random (but amazing) bits from the soundtrack. I never wanted to leave the menu…
That said, I’m amazingly biased towards the original monks. I can’t believe they’re not in, especially with Never Forget being remixed and the monks being in trailers.
Could anyone tell me how frequently (and diversely) the menu plays music? Are we talking Reach or Halo 3?
And here’s an idea, let’s get music while we’re searching for players in matchmaking!
