HALO 4 Machinima "Outcasts"

Hello everyone that want’s to be part of a machinima series or that is already helping with this machinima series called “Outcasts”. Here is where all the updates/ news/ and even ideas(characters and scenes) for the series. Also this is the place for ANYONE who wants to help with the series can go ahead an post here.

I’m the creator of the “Outcasts” as well as the director. My gamertag is SepiaAnt8071 so if you want to add me because you either want to join or have any questions that you want answered. I am a nice guy cause if someone has an idea for a scene that they want to make or a character that they want to add, then I will see if it will be great for the series. Right now we have a lot of actors/ map makers/ and possibly a few video crew people that want to make this series happen. I constantly check my Xbox messages, post, and Email so I can know if there is any problem(s) with anything. The only times that I will be on my XBOX is ONLY ON THE WEEKENDS. However for the rest of the time I will be on here or doing personal stuff(school/homework, church, etc).

I understand if you can’t get on the XBOX because of work, school, and other personal issues, that’s why everyone should be on constantly either on Halowaypoint or XBOX LIVE. Because of this, everyone can be on the same page with activities, announcements, and other important stuff. Also if you have trouble with being on a certain day you can quickly send a message here or on XBOX LIVE and I can easily get to it in less then 8-10 hours max.

This post will change each week for announcements such as week schedules so be prepared for what to expect. Another thing, this is by Pacific Time where I’m at, so if you are at a different time zone please consider the time difference if you are unable to do anything do to the time difference(s).

So remember: <mark>This machinima series IS OPEN TO EVERYONE THAT WANTS TO HELP</mark>. We take any ideas for characters/maps/and even scenes. We are respectful to each other and make sure that everyone is ok. So I guess this is a Machinima making clan or something.

Yeah sure you can join. Your character’s name is Diana. More info on this character will be revealed later on so come back daily to see the info on this charcater.

Hey everyone I’m sorry to say this but I’m in school right now so the only time we can meet together would be on Friday through Sunday. So if you have any questions I can go on here and answer any questions. If you have the sae trouble as me go ahead and please post here so that the other cast members and I can know.

Hey everyone you thought I would forget this, but I how can I not remember this. Anyways from now until August 30th it will be character making(side characters and possibly main characters if you can make a really good bio on them). So if you still don’t have a spot in this machinima then please go ahead and tell us who you want to be or add me as a buddy/friend so we can talk. So until 8/30 go ahead and let your imagination run wild … ok maybe not really wild but go ahead and tell me/us all the people you can come up with. Also remind me who’s characters that I need to still need to give to/ or a bio on their person, and requirements(main characters only).

Could I please see who my character is. I dont mind if Im minor, but a bigger character would be nice.

Sorry the main character group is already taken. However; there is more main people you can play as. I want to know though if you want an ONI scientist,Spartan-II/III, or even a regular Marine/ODST.

Hello everyone. I have some character slots open for the series “Outcasts” if you are interested in helping. I’m looking for people that have the Spartan-V armor, FULL ODST armor, and something that makes you look like a scientist and/or a medical personal. Again if you want to help or are already helping please leave a post here of what you want to be and I’ll get to you later.

For those that are helping, I’m sorry that I haven’t been on because of school. I’ll be back on Friday or Saturday and I intend of having more meetings for practices and character discussions(that includes who you can be, what armor you need/have, and if you want to make more characters). Also if you want to make some scenes up that YOU think will be great to add, just go ahead and add me as a buddy here on waypoint or on XboxLive and tell me your ideas.

If you still need some help, I’d be willing to join in. It’s been too long since I’ve helped someone else with their own machinima. But I’m a bit confused on what’s going on here. You’re having other people create characters for your series? If so, you’re gonna have a very eclectic group of characters. Which might be a bad thing…or a good thing.

I see what you are thinking about everyone making up their own characters. Well if you think about it, if I’m the one making up their characters the actors wouldn’t be so “attached” to them. That’s why if they make their own people, they would want to make the characters to be like them. So if the actors like who they are playing as, they will be more effective while preforming. Also that’s for wanting to help.

I understand. I’ve just never seen a machinima handled in such a way, and that’s why this caught my interest. But as I said, if you still need with characters and what not, I’m willing to do what I can. Also, if you need some additional help with pre-production stuff (planning, organizing, etc.), I can help out with that too. I’ve been making machinimas since Halo 2, so this isn’t my first rodeo. :slight_smile:

Ok for you I would want you to be an honor guard for a part in the first episode. Then I’ll give you a character that will be in episode 2 (if the first episode is good). Knock on wood.

Unfortunately, I won’t be available this weekend. I’m leaving town this Thursday and won’t be back till late Sunday. Is there anyway to meet up Tuesday or Wednesday?
