In this video by Machinima we’re told that we can lower our guns in Halo 4. Offline of course 
To do this you will need to hold the RELOAD, JUMP, CROUCH buttons then press down on the DPAD for a few seconds!

If there was a better, easier way I’m sure 343i would have done it that way instead

Well why did they make it so we need to do a random combo to simply lower a weapon?

I don’t work for 343i so I wouldn’t know, sorry.
I hope it ends-up working in Online-Custom Games/Forge. Or else i find it pointless… Again. plus, why cant it just be “Look down for 10seconds.” or something super Simple.
Why not a simple one button press? why not let us test to see if there are any exploits with this to make sure? Why not Just make it a custom game option? that way people cant access it in normal matchmaking just like they cant turn into a monitor ball during matchmaking?
