After watching the E3 footage, I can honestly say that I am really excited to get my hands on that game. It looks great. The new enemies are really unique and the guns the showed in the campaign look really cool. 343 has totally delivered in my book, and I cant wait. Completely satisfied thus far, and I am very excited.
Also, to those who are putting 343 down and are saying that Bungie would have done a better job, you don’t know what you are talking about. Bungie stopped listening to the community after Halo 2, and gave us the God awful game that is Halo reach to suffer with. 343 is actually listening, and I think this game is going to be the best Halo so far, even with the limited game-play we have thus far. Cant wait!
The weapons looks good, even though the scatter gun is ripped from the Unreal games (made by epic), even the projectiles and their behaviour is the same in both games (Ut3/2004 and Halo 4).
The “enemies” looks horrible, not only have does soem of them looked to much like “aliens” in other modern games (Metriod, Red Faction, Crysis) but the one that is “unique” tries to hard to be “CoD style cool” with a big massive flaiming skull. Really, are the audience 12 years old?
Why the blam! would an advanced alien race create a defensive robots who’s first melee “attack” is to remove his protective helmet and scream in the face of the opponent?!
It’s dumb, it’s a cheap way to make it look cool, but it makes no sense gameplay wise and does not fit in the Forerunner universe at all. The “flying 8” drone might, and Mr skull as long as he keeps his face closed.
The visuals was at least good
> The weapons = Fantastic and truly powrful
> The visuals = Jaw-dropping and beautiful
> The Enemies = Sophisticated, complex, and menacing
>
> So far, Halo 4 looks like it has all the ingredients to make a great game. 343 Industries have really outdone themselves. I can’t wait to see more.

Ever heard of Xenomorphs and their second mouth?
Nonetheless, you may have a point. Still, as long as that doesn’t happen too often, I might not mind.
