Halo 4 Loadout Info (AS OF 7/13/12)

So as we all know, some people here missed E3, myself included, and need to be caught up on the loadouts.
So here you are: -->Note my source is right here!.

Most of this info in from BravoMLG’s video that is linked to this page. I did not figure this info out by myself, I merely wanted to make it more accessible to the community.
(Side Note: This thread is only about load-out info CONFIRMED by 343, so no leaked things such as Active Camo, Auto
Turret, Regeneration Field, and Jetpack, until they are confirmed to be in-game by 343.)

Term Guide: Motion Tracker = Radar/Motion Sensor. AA = Armor Abilities. Storm Rifle = Buffed up Plasma Rifle. DMR = Designated Marksman Rifle.

Note: As of 7/13/12, there are currently 5 avaible loadouts for customization, but that may change in the final build of the game.

This post will be updated as new information is released.

There will be Primary Weapon Slots, Secondary Weapon Slots, Grenade Slots, Armor Abilities, Tactical Packages, Support Upgrades, and the option to name your loadout.

I’m going to list all of the possible options for each loadout along with a description about each one that may be confusing.

Primary Weapon: Assault Rifle, Battle Rifle, Storm Rifle, DMR, and Covenant-Carbine.

Secondary Weapon: Magnum and Plasma Pistol.

Grenade: Frag Grenade or Plasma Grenade.

Armor Ability: Promethean Vision, Hologram, Thruster Pack, and Hardlight Shield.

Tactical Package: Shielding (Makes your shields recharge faster.), Firepower (Allows the use of a primary weapon in a secondary weapon slot.), Resupply (Allows the recovery of grenades from fallen allies and foes.), AA Effeciency (Your Armor Abilities recharge faster, allowing you to use them more often.).

Support Upgrade: Ammo (Increases the total amount of ammo for all weapons, including ordnance drops), Sensor (Increases Motion Tracker range and is more sensitive to stationary targets.), Awareness (Allows the use of a Motion Tracker when zoomed in with a scope.), and Mobility (Unlimited Sprint).

Loudout Name: You are now able to name your loadout whatever you want. And are free to rename it whenever you wish. (Predefined names are: Loadout 1, Loadout 2, Loadout 3, Loadout 4, and Loadout 5.)

My dream Loadout based on this info (could be changed later as more Loadout options are revealed):

Loadout Name: Reclaimer

Primary Weapon: Carbine

Secondary Weapon: DMR

Grenade: Plasma Grenade

Armor Ability: Promethean Vision

Tactical Package: Firepower

Support Upgrade: Mobility

DMR, Storm Rifle
Plasma Grenades
AA: Thruster Pack
Tac Pack: Firepower
Support Upgrade: Mobility

Good choices. You have the DMR for precise fighting at medium to long range, and a Strom Rifle for close range situaions.

That’s pretty awesome.

Anyway-here’s ONE possibility for a loadout of mine:

Primary: Battle Rifle
Secondary: Assault Rifle
Grenade: Frag
Armour Ability: Hardlight shield
Tactical pack: Firepower
Support upgrade: Ammo

Yes, but since it’s now required to be used as a perk, grenade spam is toned down.

ah, okay that makes sense. I’ll probably use that perk, grenades are my favorite weapon. lol
