I don’t know, they are streaming about 21 min and can’t see because it’s getting me a black screen
The demo is over now. It was a mixture between “meh” and “alright”. Though the reason I feel this way might be because it’s so late at night and I’m sleepy (4am! D:), and maybe because Frank wasn’t playing all that well (couldn’t even board a ghost!). I must play this game for myself! I can’t wait any longer!
15-20 minutes of the fourth section of the 3rd level Forerunner on Normal difficulty.
Mind = blown
Observations (I might not be very accurate):
weapon cache at the start emulates customization quite well. I used to haul weapons up hills in previous Halo games. Took me a huge chunk of time and effort just for this one simple task. This is very convenient
Enemy Banshee strafe patterns seem much better despite the Banshee’s nerfed movement. A la CE
No noticeable lag at loading points compared to Halo 3/ODST/Reach
Chief definitely seems like a Spartan II this time. No noticeable fall damage when dropping out of the Banshee; that height would have probably killed Noble Six. Jumping over Ghost splatter attempts is back. Boarding is just asking to be shot at IMO
I could care less if it seems linear. There’s enough replayability to keep me playing this game over and over again! Nonetheless, exploration seems to be encouraged
