Halo 4 Limited Edition Xbox Question

At launch night I plan to get the Halo 4 Limited Edition Xbox. The only problem is that it comes with a standard edition of Halo 4. I wanted the Limited edition Halo 4 game.

Does anyone know if the bundle already has the limited edition stuff in it or do I have to buy the limited edition separate?(thus having 2 Halo 4 games).

Is the limited edition game even worth it? I’m going to need a new xbox regardless, so the console is not the issue here.

You need to purchase the Limited Edition separately. Personally, I’m getting both.

You have to buy it separate, I know I feel you, I’ve done the same. We don’t get the pass either.
But lets all have a toast to the people who bought limited edition an don’t get the extra Helmets for the pass

Likewise. I going to sell the standard copy of halo 4 and my reach console as a little bundle on ebay. Gotta make some of that cash back.

The Halo 4 Xbox 360 console only includes a standard copy of the game.

What is this pass you are talking about? Ima probably buy both and sell the regular one.

I just wanted to know what so special that comes in the limited edition besides the code for a map pack?

Separately

@ #7 post. Yes.

Sorry to go slightly off topic but this is about my limited edition pre order:In another thread a dude said I won’t get it unless I’ve paid it off, is this true?.I put down the $10 fee, that’s it though.

You’ll get it if you have it pe-ordered and pay for it the day you buy it, you dont need to pay anything off before hand.

Thank you, I got pretty nervous when the guy told me I wouldn’t get it, EB games had the best stuff.

You will have to get it seperately.

If it makes you feel better, the recruit armor is NOT exclusive. However, it’s alternate skin is.

Technically, you are not really missing anything by not getting the Limited edition. The only things the Console version is missing out is the other 6 specializations that would be available to those who get the limited edition. Even then, you’ll get them later as the game’s shelf life continues.

I personally am not worrying about it. But if you really want the Recruit skin and all 8 specs available when you hit 50 in the progression ranks, by all means go for it.

Your copy will be there when the game is out. You’ll still need to pay off the rest when the game is out though.

I’m not sure how long EB games will hold your copy when the game’s released. Just remember to have the cash Nov.6, and you’ll be fine.

This is sorta on topic, but I am buying the LE and LE console. I talked to an employee as I was pre-ordering the console and he noticed that I already had the LE. He said, " Are you just gonna sell back the standard edition?" I responded with yes. Then, I go in a couple weeks later to trade in my old xbox, and the guy told me that they do not accept brand new games that have been opened, and for me to trade it in it would have to be opened. But the return policy says that any un-opened product may be returned within 30 days of purchase with receipt. So will I be able to return it, or will I have to sell it on ebay to get the $60?

Probably. Though I would talk to their manager about it to be sure before you plan on doing anything. If the code is IN the box, you’ll have to open it, and that counts as used.

You should be able to return it.

Alright, thanks to both of you. That’s what I thought. Just gotta be careful when I receive it.

Crap. As of now, I am officially incapable of buying the LE Console and I REALLY want it bad. Won’t be able to until maybe sometime after Christmas.

…juuuuuuuuuuuust great!

Im going to pre order the LE Console tomorrow.

I still am undecided on the LE Game. Not sure if its worth it to spend the extra 100.

I’ve ordered the console from Game which comes with the added bonus of the Six Specializations, Oceanic Armor and Battle Rifle Skins. I’ll also order the LE edition of the game from Amazon and get the added bonus of the web Armour Suit and Two Emblems.
