Halo 4 Limited Edition not being recognized

I bought 4 halo 4 for my son and I. The first two were at the midnight release and they were the regular Halo 4’s. I preordered 2 limited editions to be received later than the midnight release.

We played the regular version until our limited editions showed up. When I received the limited edition I installed the new disk 2 and all the other stuff. I entered the code listed on the card and all my specializations showed up and all was good. I had been playing not knowing otherwise. Then I logged on the halo waypoint and tried to get into the Forward Unto Dawn and it said I needed the limited edition. I figured it was a web glitch and it would be fixed. Then when the Crimson Map Pk came out. I never received a code and I still haven’t and I couldn’t play the maps. So I bought the maps so I could play them. I tried again to log into the Forward Unto Dawn and it still says I can’t because I need limited edition. So now, I realize it is now completely recognizing me as limited edition. It is PARTIALLY recognizing me because I still have the specializations (I’m lvl 115).

All that being said, what do I have to do to get it to COMPLETELY recognize the limited edition. What am I missing? Anything I need to do? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Steve

  1. With viewing the FUD video (I’m assuming you entered the code), try logging into the Waypoint app on the Xbox 360. I couldn’t access it till I did that and I haven’t had any issue since.

  2. With the maps, did you try downloading them from the in-game marketplace first? Since the limited edition comes with a War Games Map Pass as part of group of features (Specializations, map pass, skins, and the emblem), you’ll need to download it from the in-game marketplace (the one in the start menu). Otherwise if you just buy it from the regular marketplace, you’ll get charged 800 MSP.
