Halo 4 Limited Edition map pack issue!!!!!!!!

I entered all the codes that came with my reserved copy for Halo 4 Limited Edition, all of them worked correctly. Only question is, how do I know if I have the 3 map packs already downloaded? because when I went to the ingame marketplace for halo 4 to see if the War Games Pack was downloaded or whatever, it shows it with a price tag of 2000MC pts on it still.

I think once the downloadable content is available you can download it for free. Because if you go to your hard drive > Games and Apps > Halo 4 you can see that its downloaded. You’ll just have to wait until the content is available.

What is it under in Halo 4, I don’t think it’s in there for me.

That code is for maps releasing in December, February, and April. I imagine that, when released, there will be some sort of indication that you already own them so long as you download the maps via the game and not the Xbox Marketplace.

I did the same thing. Entered all four of the codes and the ones that came with my receipt, but if it is to be a in game prompt later when the packs come available they could have made it a little more clear. That code has map “pk” not map “pass” on the labeling. I think thats why most of us paid the extra 40 bones to get a discounted price on the upcoming map pks. Would it have killed them to have a separate code for the pass? If it is a foul up they better make good on what they claimed would be included the LE. I didn’t pay the extra for some scraps of paper with fan service on them.

I was also curious about this, the leaflet inside claims to be a code for the map pack, specialisations and armour yet when I inserted the code all that came up on the dashboard was a list of Armour in the download named INFINITY ACTUAL KIT, no reference to the map pack/pass whatsoever

So my question is the same, does anyone have clarification that this code/download does indeed include the map packs as they become available? Cos according to the xbox when the code is redeemed all its for is armour

Any help on this would be appreciated, or of anyone can get clarification from 343

Marketplace price is for another Map Pass, not a download for the maps.

No maps are currently available for download. When they are, you will be notified.

I know this, but the question is the limited edition code which is supposed to give us the map pass, doesn’t state that when redeeming on the dashboard! And I’m wondering why?

I know the map packs aren’t available yet and I know that the pass on the marketplace is for the map packs what is supposed to be included with the limited edition

But why when redeeming the code is there no mention of the map pass? This is my question

Thanks guys, this all makes more sense now… I’m just a bit curious, the hell does it work for the other 2 map packs??? unless, its like a initiation sequence code where once the packs are released, it activates and its free?
