I am extremely mad right cause I just found out that the specializations are going to be available to all until Nov 20. And I pre-ordered the Halo 4 limited edition just for that and the map pack pass but I also find out that we don’t even get the 2 exclusive helmets that are being offered with the pass. And I can’t even cancel the order due to it being ready to ship. Really 343i not to be rude but you guys really screwed all the people who pre-ordered the limited edition. I mean seriously what are we getting then a steel bookcase yeah I guess that’s going to make me happy wasting $120. I really hope you guys do something to make this up to the fans you screwed over like atleast giving us the 2 helmets we should have got in the first place and maybe even the pre-order bonuses that were being offered to the fans. I just want to know what you guys will do to make this up to the fans who were really expecting to get the sold out everywhere LIMITED EDITION and ended up with nothing but a bunch of papers and a steel bookcase.
343 confirmed that the map pass in the LE is coming with the emblem and the two helmets in the last bulletin.
You still get the briefing packet and not everyone is going to be at SR-50 by the 20th. Who says they will unlock them all on that date? They can easily release one or two periodically over the months.
Otherwise, FuD bonuses can be viewed when uploaded to Youtube and there’s a blue edition coming out too. You get the Prime Skin for the AR and Prime skin for Recruit Armor though

Wow. The amount of old abd incorrect info here is rather astonishing, even for this forum. All specializations will be available to anyone who plays a game before November 20, then a code will be emailed to unlock them as opposed to just the two originally planned for launch. However, it will most likely take several weeks if not a couple months to get to SR-50, which is necessary to even enroll in a specialization. So, not really a big loss there. In my opinion though, I still think it’s a hoax. Not everyone received this alleged email, and there has been zero confirmation of its validity from either Microsoft or 343i. Either way, I’m not concerned.
Also, the two DLC helmets that come with the War Games Map Pass will also be included with the map pass in the limited edition of the game.
Truly, you’re not getting shafted here. Think more in broad terms. You most likely wouldn’t have gone through 50 Spartan ranks and two full specializations before the 30th of November. That kind of progression would make working through to completion of ranks take only a handful of weeks and decrease the need to continue playing the game. I doubt you’ll even notice the difference.

I had ordered the LE might leave it tho for SE was really hoping to get FUD on dvd or br with le but not to be by sound of things on this forum

Yeah, it was a major concern about the LE map pass. I am rather curious if they would have did this if no one complained hmmm…it was cool for them to fix this nonetheless.

I don’t really feel as if 343 has let me down at all.
I didn’t get the limited edition for the specializations; I didn’t get it for any of the digital stuff.
I bought the limited edition for the same reason that I bought Reach’s LE: The feelies
so, unless 343 announces that they’re going to be mailing the physical stuff to anyone who registers the standard edition before the 20th I’m happy with them.

Not really considering you don’t actually get the extended FUD cut with the LE, but merely permission to stream it via Waypoint. Shadey.
