i’m just so excited to get my hands on the halo 4 console. seriously, it is absolutely epic looking!!! even the controllers look amazing!!! i don’t know about you guys, but having a TRANSPARENT halo themed console is truly a limited edition halo collection. adding the blue led’s is like the icing on the cake too. i’m definitely wearing my fotus armor and probably have white as the main armor color, with black trim, and a black visor.

speaking of fotus armor; to me personally, it looks like a mix-breed of guyver and gundam unicorn. people may be complaining and joking about it, but i would say that it looks awesome!!!

not to mention that since i preordered from gamestop, i’ll be getting an exclusive halo theme for my dashboard; which will look great with my fotus armor avatar and the promethean prop.

all the work and detail that 343i put into the console bundle (including the artwork on the console and controllers) is awe-inspiring! the game looks great and it’s going to BE great! so much work has gone into it and so much more is to come. i already preordered the map pass and can’t wait to see how the maps are going to turn out!

i’m not much of a competitive/mlg player. i like to kick back and relax and just enjoy the game. i’ll probably start with campaign, then go to spartan ops, and maybe forge afterwards. playing multiplayer every now and then, but nothing too serious about it. just have fun and chat with y’all =D we live in a first world country and sometimes we forget about that. i don’t encourage trash talking online nor do i plan to. be thankful for the things that you have and if you want more, you must work hard to earn it. at the same time, be content with what you already have because having more is not always better.

on a side note, i currently don’t have a xbox since i traded in my old 360 towards the purchase of the new halo 4 one. but feel free to add me to your friends list if you guys ever want to play a chill game with me. i’ll be sure to accept you guys once i get my new console =)

lastly, not a lot of people are fortunate enough to go as far as i did and preorder all this stuff, so i’m definitely grateful to have this opportunity. also…please don’t take this post the wrong way, i’m not here to brag or anything in that matter. i’m just very excited to take part of the halo 4 launch!

Anyways I couldn’t agree more the console looks -Yoink!- and the best one yet I 2 am getting all those bonuses and alao I’m in the same boat with the whole no console thing. I did the exact same thing lol. I will add you seeing you seem very mature compared to others. See ya on the battlefield on the 6th!

It’s cool and all, but I ain’t going to pay 400 dollars for 7 year old hardware, not as long as my original xbawx still works.

Im really happy you’re getting the console and excited for Halo 4 :slight_smile: nice to see some optimism.

I personally am only getting the LE. I didn’t really think the console looked that attractive (blue lines and transparent plastic don’t do it for me lol). Plus the new console will be out next year so might as well get the H5 version of that.

But it’s all personal preference!

I myself am going to play campaign first too. I’ll complete it on Heroic before starting my Spartan IV career.

Really cant wait. Only 12 more days! See you on the holo-deck buddy!!

I’m just going to wait until the Halo 5 console comes. If it isn’t on the new xbox, I’ll wait until Halo 6. No point in getting the Halo 4 xbox IMO unless you have a lot of money, considering the new xbox is bound to come within the next few years.

sounds good man. once i start forge, i think i’m going to do a lot with it. maybe invite friends to it once it’s ready.

I caint wait to get my H4 console as well but I wont use it till the next day Im keeping my old console till I get H4, maybe selling it to a friend so I dont get riped off. But also so I can play as soon as I get home, theres no way im waiting while my GT dl’s to play.

So my lady purchased my Limited Edition copy of halo 4, and I bought the console, well, pre ordered it at least. I also got a brand new Samsung hd monitor JUST for halo.

I’m not a fan of the transparent look, xbox guts just look nasty. I perfer my frosted silver ONI Section 1 Reach edition. Though I enjoy the new LED colors, and im a bit shocked it took this long before they started switching them. I was also dissapointed to find out the console comes with two forerunner controllers instead of 1 forerunner and 1 UNSC.
