I really wanted to preorder Halo 4 Limited, but it looks like nobody has any left.
Do more preorders for Limiteds usually open up later, or like will Gamestop get more to give out? Or should I just go with normal and suck it up?
Don’t worry about it. Just grab a season pass for the DLC, you get some armor exclusive from the LE as well as all the upcoming maps, all for cheaper than the rest of the LE. Unless you really want permission to watch a stream of an extra 15 minutes of FUD…

eBay post-launch, maybe. That could be really expensive, though. If you can wait, two years from now the LE will probably be really cheap, I’ve seen the Reach LE for $40 and the Halo 3 one for even cheaper. FUD will inevitably come out on DVD and the extended stuff will also end up on Youtube, I wouldn’t worry about that.
If you really want one you could just stop by your local Gamespot after 2 days and see if anyone either forgot to pick theirs up or didnt pay it off in time. After 48 hours they dont hold them any longer.
Damn. Okay, thanks again for the advice. I’ll get standard and the season pass…and preordering at…Gamestop. I’ll see if I can like buy the case itself (I really want that case) online after it comes out.

LE isn’t really that good a deal unless you’re a hard core Halo fan.
You’re missing out on avatar props, skins, Collectible booklet, FuD footage (will be on youtube anyways)… and a Biscuit tin.
Honestly, only good thing in the LE is the map pack pass and you can buy that seperately. Besides, the game is THE most important thing.
Now stop worrying, get excited to play some Halo (and not dress your avatar) and enjoy the game :D!

I wouldnt use the case for your discs, over time the middle will begin to crack as those tin cases are really hard to get to let go of the disc. I really wish they would change the design already.

OT: Sucks that you couldn’t get one OP, but to be honest you can pretty much get all the main stuff from the Ltd Ed by buying it on the Marketplace. Just grab a Season Pass and you’re good to go!

Limited Edition is limited, like the name says, if they’re out, they are permently out, you might get lucky post release and find someone canceling their preorder, but for the most part, all I can say is next time, as soon as you can PREORDER THE LIMITED EDITION as soon as it’s announced, put the lost amount of money you can on it, and don’t wait until now to buy it.

The LE edition was up for pre-order months ago, we knew it was limited and there was only a certain amount of time to order.
Gamestop didn’t run out. Basically the way 343 handled it was they gave companies like gamestop, walmart, bestbuy, ect until a certain date to get all the LE preorders they could in. (think it ended like 4 weeks ago) then 343 is only providing enough games to satisfy those preorders. Normally a company is able to by as many LE and regular copies as they wish but 343 is trying to make it more exclusive. Who knows if they will manufacture more LE’s.

Which I can easily wait for. By the time I Max out on wetworks, they would’ve have released some more specializations.

I hope they don’t, it is called the limited edition for a reason. It is a shame people couldn’t order in time but that is their fault.

Could you at least post something nice and useful and not splatter your verbal diarrhea over these forum posts? Maybe he was just hesitant because he didn’t know if it was worth it, which by now it doesn’t really seem that way. Oh well, I got it. I’m fine with it. I’ll get the extra stuff to use whenever if I’m bored or give away if I don’t want.

I’m assuming that it’ll take about a month to max or a month for them to release the content. Even if I’m not close to being correct, I can pass time with Spops and by just playing the game. I’m not very dependent on having early access.

Understood. But the fact still remane the same for people who have the LE. Six more added choices. Poeple are watering down that fact. Or are in denial.
