I’m about to start Halo 4 on Legendary solo so can you guys tell me how hard it is because I have heard its from Halo 2 Legendary difficulty to Reach’s legendary difficulty. Also can you tell me some tips for enemys and levels.
always keep a BR, Carbine, DMR or Light Rifle with you and also a plasma pistol (basically noob combo) it will kill anything with shields quickly
and i think the first level in halo 2 on legendary was harder than the halo 4 campaign combined haha. its a easier campaign than even reach. and its also helped by the fact that sometimes the enemy AI just stands in place when you are far away enough
Needler beats everything!
C wut i did thur
Noob combo as well ( plasma pistol + precision weapon)
Kill watchers first, then crawlers(they’re annoying and spray at you cross map) then knights
I assume you know how to kill jackels if you’ve played the other halos
Elites… Are a cakewalk, unless they have a power weapon
-
Burst fire the Ar at prometheans. It prevents them from teleporting too much and once their shields break they are a gonner.
-
The light rifle / any long range weapon is always handy against the knights
-
Needlers are the best weapon you can hope for. It’s basically an instant kill on anything so always have those in your hand if you see one on the ground.
-
Patience is key. Look for alternative methods to win or get out of an area. Almost every section of the campaign has some hidden weapon or pathway to get through tough situations.
-
you don’t have to kill every guy unless the area requires it to move on. Just kill what needs to be and if you can bum rush through the area to get checkpoints.
lol @ whoever told you it was as hard as Halo 2.
Easier than Reach.
Easiest Legendary so far.
Always sit back and snipe with a rifle or mag pistol, once area is cleared move from cover to cover and when your shields are fully charged jump out and unload on the knight, after a clip is empty follow up with a melee.
Master the headshot then do as much as you can from as far away as you can. The range of the BR, DMR, carbine, and light rifle should really be put to the test.
As someone posted above me: take out the watchers, then the crawlers, then the knights. Not sure what BS Angel was talking about with the different strategies for different combinations of enemies. I used same strategy for the whole campaign.
When using the binary rifle sometimes you’ll need to do 2 or even three shots against knights. Consider switching to your other weapon instead of using a binary round for that last shot. Ammo for that gun is precious.
That’s all I can think of atm.
