I have Just Completed legendary campaign and it did not reward me with the armor or the visor i have the achievement and even went on halo waypoint it is really bugging me because my friends who i did the legendary campaign with got the Armor but i didn’t please help 343!!!
Same has happened too me, 343 please can you help us both out.
I completed just 10 minutes ago, I go to see the armor and it’s not there.

I beat legendary on solo as well and I didn’t get anything, just the achievement.
Okay I had this problem and the I fixed it was to do the mission for the commendation that was missing.
To be awarded the Mark VI and Legendary Visor you must complete the “Legend” commendation (Service Record -> Player -> Campaign -> Then you have a list of missions needed to complete for the commendation). To do this, all missions must be completed on legendary. Unfortunately the system that records completion is buggy and you must be connected to Xbox live the entire time throughout the mission. Missions must be done from start to end. I’ve had more success in doing missions in a single run from the start ( as in, don’t save and quit until you finish the mission for the commendation you are missing).
Your best shot is redoing missions that dont appear to be complete.

I just came back from “Infinity” on solo Legendary. It kicked my butt up and down the level and it didn’t count as “Legendary” as an icon on the level nor did I get the commendation. >_<
Same here with me… I finally done it, went I to the Armory and was like; wtf!? are you freaking kidding me, I just spent like 8hours straight doing this and because I wasn’t connected to Live through it all I now can’t have ny armour???
What gives 343!? I completed it fair and square same as everyone else.
Where can I send a formal complaint about this so it’s actually heard?
Any more news regarding this yet??
this is -Yoink-, i just compleated on legandary! got achivements for it but no service record and no Armour. FIX IT!
Yeah I’m having the same problem. I completed the campaign on legendary and even have the Lone Wolf Legend and Legend of 117 achievements and my commendations say Ive not completed it. I hope I could get some help at fixing this or any advice would be good. 
Inifinity didn’t record on my service record when I did it. It shows campaign complete on legendary and 8/8 missions complete on my service record. But if I look at the individual missions Infinity is missing.
Attemping to redo it now with 5 skulls for the challenges as well (gonna be a ball ache - just got to the bit where you have to hold at that door with the sentry guns…)
I started my legendary campaign during the most recent XBL outage (a month ago or thereabouts?). I completed two levels on legendary but they have yet to show up in my commendations. I haven’t played a legendary campaign since then… Maybe I need to go back in for it to recognize that previous effort?
Also, have you tried raising this in one of the support sticky threads?
^I’m pretty sure its been made fairly clear somewhere (absolutely no citation to back that up) that you’re going to have to recomplete the missions whilst connected to LIVE
I remember on 3 completing missions offline and they would all sync to your service record as soon as you connected (though they may not have remembered stats)
i have this problem too. i tried re-doing the mission but it keeps going to a checkpoint even when i start a new mission…i just want this armor :’(
