Halo 4 Legendary Advice Needed

So I’m trying to play through Halo 4 solo on Legendary for the sake of the “Lone Wolf Legend” achievement and bragging rights, but I need some advice in order to make things a little smoother on myself as Heroic’s as high as I’m good at.

I beat the first mission with relative ease and now I’m on Requiem (where I know the game starts getting harder based on past experience.)

  1. Headshots, always a must to have a precision weapon to kill enemies efficiently
  2. Cover, it’s Legendary
  3. Long Range Combat, I find going up closer is suicide, make use of a plasma pistol or an assault rifle to whittle down shields before finishing elites off with a headshot, the only option up closer is to use a needler
  4. Prometheans, always kill the watcher first, never fight the knights CQC unless you have a scattershot, spam the lightrifle on the knight at long range, pulse grenades are pretty useless, suppressor and boltshot are also pretty useless and are last resort weapons
  5. Armour abilities (they’re practically all useless), only use the autosentry, jetpack or the thruster pack (it’s only given in Composer)
    Any other advice I would give is mainly for each level

Assassinate every Knight after taking out watcher and crawlers.

Unfortunately, while Halo 4’s campaign and narrative are quite good, there isn’t a lot of variety when it comes to fighting Prometheans. Hide and kill the Watchers while taking out any Crawlers that swarm your position; take out the remaining Crawlers; get rid of the Knights. I’m assuming you’ve played the previous games, so fighting the Covenant is fairly similar to them.

I’ve done the campaign on legendary 3 times I found taking cover, using plasma pistols to help kill high ranking enemies also try and see if you can skip sertain bits as they may take up your time and you will die a lot if you engage. In the early levels I tried to sneak past the covenat and promethions. Also take rocket launcher type weapons when ever possible as you should use them against tough enemies or if your geting over welmed and another thing keep your distance from the enemies and use long range weapons eg lightrifle.
