Halo 4 Legendary achievements not registered?

Hi all,

so, along with mate, we decided to play through the campaign on legendary. I wasn’t expecting much as I’ve played through all but ODSTs campaign, and found them all pretty dire. The visuals are fantastic but the narrative is just awful, filled with boring cutscenes about an oversized man who seems to have an unhealthy obsession for his pet VR girl. Oh and there’s a good dose of ‘Matrix talk’ about librarians/prometheans and didacts or some other utter nonsensical twoddle. Couple all that with the monotony of 'go to point A - press button - go to point B - press button - go to point A - insert cortana - go to point B - retrieve Cortana etc etc…

Please, a dyslexic 6 year old could a have written a better plot.

Anyway, I just needed to vent as that’s 12 hours of my life I’m not getting back. Adding insult to injury : profile shows campaign as completed on legendary but no achievements unlocked?? (7 that should have unlocked) …and it’s clear to see why. 4 of the missions don’t show as being completed on any difficulty!?!

Has anyone else experienced the unlocking problem? God help me if I have to play through any of the campaign again- I’ll be in a secure ward on 24/7 suicide watch for sure.

Multiplayer - 7 (loses a point for the farcical level cap) who’s idea was it to email specialization codes and then forget to actually do it??

Your point on everything but the story is legit and fine. Have XBL fix your achievements. You’ve earned those. If you don’t understand the story, its not your fault you are starting with Halo 4; Being the fourth in the series there is a lot of background info you miss by jumping in this installment. Bottom line is this though : John 117 - AKA Master Chief has been fighting for a really long time. Lots of people have died. His friends he grew and trained with by his side; Dead. Cortana was given to him before that happened. She is his link to the world of humanity he is trying to save. Aside from Cortana, the only other link is her creator who is finally given some spotlight in this game.
