Halo 4 LE Pre-Order Bonuses?

I have been hearing a lot of turmoil over the bonuses associated with the Halo 4 LE. What exactly has been going on? Is it no longer worth it to purchase LE. Please don’t flame me for being confused and out of the loop.

I think it is still worth it to buy it. infact I have no idea what the hell is going on.

I hope so. I have no idea what has been going on and I can’t seem to understand through the threads complaining what is going on. All I can assemble is that there is a problem with the “exclusiveness” of the bonuses.

Basically…

The access to all specializations will be offered to those who play the game during the first week of release.

What everyone thought to be special armor turned out to be special armor skin.

The war games map pack is included, but if you buy the pack stand alone with the normal edition of the game, you get 2 free helmets, but not with the LE.

So basically the only exclusive things are the avatar items, armor skin and emblems, the papers and the special case. But for $40 more, it isn’t worth it IMO.

The limited edition has been marjeted in a very underhand and deceitful manner.

Much of the content is not as exclusive as this advertisement makes it out to be.

So essentially all the “exclusive” items are a free for all now except for the packet, avatar items, and skins (most of which 90% give or take probably will only briefly use before scraping them as they get access to other items). That is just messed up. The map pack pass is $25 correct which would be $85 with more content than LE so it would seem.

You’re forgetting the FUD will only be able to stream instead of hard copy of FUD in the LE(which the bluray or dvd copy will come out later).

Really, wow that is incredibly stupid. Is 343 aware of how badly the consumers are getting screwed. It likely isn’t even 343 behind it. Most likely Microsoft seeing as how they own 343.
