I have preordered the LE edition because i want the digital version of F.U.D and the Locus armor ( which comes from my retailer ) .
Also i wanted access to the maps . So far it is OK .
But , if i want the two helmets that come with the Normal Map Pass [ Strider(?) and Scanner ] , how can i purchase it , if i have ALREADY downloaded it via the LE edition ?
Even if DO buy it again ( For the love of God , why ???!!! ) , i still couldnt be able to complete my transaction .
You don’t have to buy the Standalone pass if your getting the LE. 343 is just taking a LE’s Map Pass and saying here you can just buy this part. LE people get the Strider, Scanner, and Falcon in the LE.
EDIT: All right apparently I’m mistaken so it it two different Map Passes for some odd reason and apparently if LE’s want the DLC they’ll have to buy the Map Pass a second time so thank you 343 for lowering my hype for Halo 4 once again until next week’s bulletin.

Thank you 343 for once again lowering my hype and making me waste money to have to buy the same thing twice to get something that isn’t in the other. My hype is now 80% until next week’s bulletin.

the bonus content is a part of the pass so the LE should also provide the same bonus content as advertised…

The LE comes with the War Games Map Pass but that one is different then the standalone one, so you don’t get the strider or scanner helmets with the LE version just the standalone one gives you the helmet.

that really isn’t what it says though, bs angel cleared it up but that really isn’t what the bulletin says, it says it containts the war game map pass but doesn’t describe what it is, further down it describes what it is and contains a list of bonus content with it and the LE contains this pass so logically it also contains the same bonus content with the pass.
if it doesn’t then you distinguish the difference…
To sum up for everyone they dont know : the LE pass and the normal pass ARE Different . Please anyone know the answer to my question ? will i be able to buy the other pass , or my xbox will be you have already downloaded this content , download it again ? without any other bonuses ?

Well, if they have different content, then it’s most definitely not the same content so you can buy it separately. Alternatively, if you are still uncertain, then simply don’t redeem the LE pass and buy the separate one.

If one comes with more content, (blergh) then I suppose they are two separate downloads. If you’re really considering buying two of them though, I’d redeem the seperate one first, and give the other one away or something.
