Is there any word yet about a fix for playlist crashing. It either I get the can’t load error, or it will make a noise and crash my whole game to restart again. I see other people are having the same issue.
Yeah, I was able to fix this, sort of. Right now it crashes, right? The whole game? What you have to do is start another playlist of the same game. So for Halo 4, start any of the other Halo 4 playlists: this will clear the corrupted save file. Then, when the new playlist starts, save and quit and go back to the LASO playlist. You will have to begin the last level you were on from the start. Kind of a bummer but with LASO you should be used to it.
Just saying, thank you a LOT for that tip. I was SO aggravated at the crashing (I’ve done the missions from Dawn, right to Infinity, enough, to the point where LASO doesn’t faze me now, as I had to keep restarting. XD). Hopefully, 343 hands out a small patch for that. Ironically, that’s my only complaint on the MCC.
Had this damn thing happen to me, am playing through the legendary halo 4 playlist, I will not restart it and lose my progress -Yoink- that -Yoink- almost finished the damn game and now its doing this, 343 fix your -Yoink- before you release halo 5
halo 4 laso has crashed a dozen times so far. First on requiem then on infinity. It almost loads locks up then goes to the dashboard.
That fix still works.
I was trying to pinpoint which areas and checkpoints are corrupted. Basically what’s the safe zone to start using save and quit exploit without restarting the level. As far as I can tell the last valid save and quit is in Dawn, the checkpoint as you come onto the plateu with Covenant while driving the warthog. Apparently you still have to restart the level in Infinity as checkpoints in that mission corrupt. Not sure if it’s the whole level. Not sure about Forerunner either.
