COMPLETED LASO CAMPAIGN WITH: Derp from Above, Ghetto Private.
Today my friends and I finally completed the Halo 4 campaign on LASO (Legendary All Skulls On) difficulty. Over the past 2 weeks we have been working on completing all of the missions on this difficulty.
Anyway, upon completion I went to Waypoint and entered the LASO code, the code was recognised as being unlocked. I went back to Halo 4 however the LASO skull and cross emblem was nowhere to be seen.
I’ve searched the internet for answers, however all I can find with the keywords entered is the usual ‘LASO CODE 50000XP ERMAHGERD’, I’ve been unable to find anyone with the same problem as I’ve been experiencing.
If anyone on this forum can provide me with any sort of assistance it would be spectacular, as I have worked genuinely hard for this emblem and not being able to have it is definitely not worth the two hour battle with the Knights on Midnight.
Before random suggestions get thrown at me, I’ll list the following:
I HAVE ACHIEVED THE PREREQUISITES:
- Completed full LASO Campaign on Co-op
- Have successfully unlocked the code on Waypoint and achieved recognition, in the classified section LASO is listed as unlocked.
- I have the waypoint application on my 360 (Obviously)
- I am not a troll attempting to score a free emblem, after the campaign I’ve experienced I wouldn’t even try. THE FREAKING BULLETS, THEY TICKLE THE KNIGHTS, THEY DO NOTHING.
I HAVE TRIED THE RECTIFY THE SITUATION BY:
- Turning the 360 off and back on again
- Re-entering the code on Waypoint
- Doing a few games of matchmaking and waiting
- Starting Halo 4 via Waypoint
- Furiously mashing the ‘A’ button on the LASO unlockable in Waypoint
- Searching the internet for solutions
THE PROBLEM/S MAY BE:
- When we reached Infinity, we had a third person (Ghetto Private)join the LASO adventures. This means that from the missions from Infinity and Beyond (lol)were played with three people and the missions up to Infinity were only completed with two people. HOWEVER, Ghetto Private has the emblem and his situation is the same as mine.
- I have terrible luck?
THINGS I HAVEN’T TRIED:
- Uninstalling and reinstalling Waypoint (Is this a good idea? Will it screw with any of my already unlocked Waypoint content in the base game, ie. Raider armour, emblems.
- Completing LASO again (See also: Fate worse than death)
UPDATE: Before I finished writing this the emblem unlocked itself.
- I waited at the title screen for 10 - 15 minutes.
- I proceeded to look at the emblem section and the unlocked star was there.
