Trying to put my turtle beachs in while doing it, so here’s how it runs.
It runs fine, I haven’t had any performance issues as of yet.
The sound effects of guns and vehicles work
The voices in game and music do not work.
I tried the toothpaste thing on the game, I would like to exchange it but someone in my family has removed the receipt so I don’t know what to do, my Local gamestop said they didn’t have any disk cleaners (Canada)
SO what should I do about this?, It sucks that I can’t hear anything aside from guns on my game, I would return it and buy it again later, but I bought the limited edition. So if anyone has any suggestions, anything that I can buy that will for sure fix this problem I will gladly listen, and for those who have had this problem and have fixed it what did you do?.

count your self lucky… my disk got laserburned on launch night… while it was booting up my idiot mate knocked it over while trying to put his flash drive with his profile into the xbox. Mine didn’t work at all, just got “The disc in unreadable”. Luckily he bought it too, so we got to play. I also preordered two copies (for dlc) and planned to return one after i redeemed the stuff, so i just kept that one too.

I’m thinking about getting a used copy later down the road or soemthing, but are there any items I can buy to remove the burn and the problem?. It’s not really fun playing a game without voices or music.

Unfortunately laserburn is pretty much unfixable, i used to work at a game store, and the disk repair things didnt even work on them.
The plus side is, the disk art is the same for the se and le editions, so you can just get an se one and swap them out (my second pre order was se)
Since you used to work at an EB games, would there be any possible way for them to recover my name in the computer or something, because I pre ordered my LE (Didn’t even get my bonus for eb games but whatever) and If I do get a different copy down the road will it affect any of my progress?.
Did you pay with a card? The gamestop here can retrieve receipts by card number if you let them swipe the one you used to pay.

I’m from australia, and all the game shops here (EB, JB etc.) keep customer details for returns, so you generally don’t need a receipt. It depends on where you’re from though i guess.

Mr russel, so If I give them my name is there a chance they could prove I paid for it, the guy I bought it from both pre order and pick up still works there, every time I go I see him ,not sure if that would count if he also remembered me though.

If you contact microsoft they can direct you to fill out a form for a replacement disc at a discounted price. They require you to mail them at least 90% of the disc or something like that but from what I’ve heard you can get the replacement disc for 10-30 bucks that way.
i would be happy if my copy got laser burned.

I love you!, thank you man, would I have to conact them through the support forums or something like that?. I’m really glad you guys helped, makes me a lot happier to be apart of such a great community. one more question though, I can ship in the whole disk as it is intact, but would I have to ship in the whole LE?.
