Almost april and the game known as Halo 4 launches Holiday 2012. So my guess is novemberish. Eight months until the new Halo game launches from a new publisher yet little close to nothing showing gameplay.
I dont try to please 343 like many of you on these forums and agree with everything and say be patiant. The truth is something is wrong with halo 4 and only the people who know anything about previous titles will know to get more copies sold then they need to advertise the product and show what it has to offer.
Halo 2 Announcement trailer–Wow that was epic. “What if you miss?” “I wont.”
Halo 3 Announcement-- Everyone was blown away by the thunderous music and visuals depicting Chief standing on the edge of a cliff with banshees zooming past.
Halo REACH–Trailer showing the characters of noble team and the graphics which shows the intoduction of Noble Six.
And Halo 4—Cheesy “CGI” animation which was rushed. Just look at Cortana with very little detail or Master Chiefs arms when he awakens from cryo like Frankenstein. John Wake up! Im here. OBVIOUSLY
Those that say this 343 and not Bungie. True but 343I has alot of people that doubt the game being good. Hype and advertisement sells a game not saying hey we are a new company for Halo and want you to spend 60 bucks on a game you know close to nothing about. Sounds good!

And lets not forget NO beta. Halo 3 Beta. Halo Reach Beta. I played and followed both of them and many problems and glitches were fixed thanks to the betas for those games.
343I has no plans for a beta and no previous experience in Halo games. I now hear armor effects multiplayer. So certain chest gives more shields or certain shoulders lets you sprint faster. I always have liked Halo because I can join a game and have an equal playing field with all the players around me… Now all the players who have played for the longest will have the same set of armor with an advantage over the players who havent played that long or dont have the time because of work.
They are probably running their own beta. The armor perks will most likely be made fair with their own system. They don’t have to tell us anything. All they have to do is keep the hype for the game up. Or do you want to be their marketing agent? Tell me how much experience you have? Halo CE wasn’t big with promotions. They are making their first and its going to be a test to see how well they can make a game. Shut up.
They have a schedule, and I suspect they will not break that schedule. We, as a fan base, will almost always want more information, no matter how much we receive, so it’s up to 343 to find the portion that is best for marketing hype, and keeping the fan base content. Ultimately the actual marketing campaign probably won’t get going until summer, much like Reach (with the exception of the beta).

They may want it, but they aren’t going to get it. Bungie gave out info differently, and 343 will give it out differently as well. We don’t want them to mimic Bungie.

Some kid complaining about something that is not even a big deal.
I wish the MODs would make a “Official Complain About Halo 4” thread, so I will do not have too see the same thread over and over again.
