So…how easy is it to get the Locus helmet off the app? Like what do I need to do? Can I just get it free by scavenging ammo or whatever every 15 minutes or would I get it like instantly if I just went to a 7-11 and bought a Mountain Dew and some Doritos?
I got lucky. There’s a 7-11 down the road from me. Best part is that nobody around me uses the H4KOTH app, so I just opened the app every now and then until I got the It’s Good to be King achievement(which is how you get the Locus helmet).
If the 7-11 near you is busy/popular, then you’ll have to do it the right way - fight for it every match until you’ve earned the achievement.

Yea, there’s a -Yoink- load of people on the app, I’m screwed.
Anybody having issues using it today? I just started yesterday and can no longer connect to the server. Are they shutting it down after 30 days?
I had it easy. A handful of 7-11s close and on the way to work. Few others playing, mainly some farmers of double xp and locus helm codes (with names such as AJ29, AJ30, AJ40, etc). It also helped that one 7-11 is within a mile (i think I still control it).
I just kept an empty bag of doritos and a mountain dew (full, I can’t drink that crap) for the reloads and also kept a 24 scavenge cycle ready to collect if I needed it.
Took a bit over 24 hours.
It’s tedious, but doable.
I live in Australia, so no 711’s or this app for me. If anyone gets another code they don’t want. It would be much appreciated.
You need to capture a hill and hold it through 100 matches. I have 4 711s within 2.5 miles and 3 more on the way to work. It took me about 3 or 4 days to get the helmet, but A LOT of people play in my area. at first it kind of sucked, but It started to be fun after the first few levels. I still play it after I got the helmet code just for the hell of it.
