Almost every time I try to join a game in halo 4 while in a party I get kicked from the party both in game and on xbox live party chat (the xbox party chat then rejoins almost as soon as it disconnects). I’d say it happens 3/4 games I try to join. It results in the game starting without me. Sometimes the map even loads for a second then I get booted back to the queue screen. I’ve forwarded all the recommended ports (TCP/UDP 80, 88, 53 and 3074) and set my xbox to a static IP and DNS yet it still does the same thing. This is truly annoying and I just want to play some halo. Thanks in advance.
I have that happen alot as well.Its caused by the host in party chat(not the in-game party chat) and usually the host of the game is the same as the host of the party.When the host lags or has a bad connection or when too many things are going on in-game people sometimes get booted out of the party, but usually they automatically pop back in.I think its just a problem with xbox live messenger.The problem appeared shortly before windows 8 went live(speculation that its the cause)so i wouldnt worry about it too much.
I know your ports are forwarded, but is your NAT open? Some routers are tricky and don’t open your NAT even when you forward.
You can check your NAT in the “Network Settings” section of Halo 4’s main menu. It should show on the sidebar.

NAT is open, has been for awhile. Disc is in perfect condition.
