Halo 4 is the beginning of the next reclaimer trilogy yes? im just guessing what if 343i doesnt want chief to finish his life fight yet, and another trilogy goes up to halo 9 being the inheritor trilogy
Is just too soon to even think about Halo 7.
Right now, another trilogy without Master Chief sounds like well… blasfemy.
But, who knows, perhaps at the end of the Reclaimer Trilogy, it will be “logical” and “feel” good to start another trilogy with or without Master Chief…

I don’t think we should get our hopes up for a 3rd trilogy. And I don’t get the point of calling it the “Inheritor Trilogy” considering there’s no “Forerunner Trilogy” to make the 3 final Reach ranks a reference.
That’s like saying there should have been a Mythic edition of Halo Reach.
Sounds amazing, but anything could happen between now and the time the next trilogy would happen. Hopefully we can get another trilogy from this game

there is a forerunner trilogy sure not a game but thee book trilogy

I think that if there was a forerunner trilogy, that it would have taken place before the first halo. Since it has to do with forerunners? Idk though. The forerunners are dead though so I don’t think a forerunner trilogy would be possible.
i just hope halo continues after this trilogy in anyway, im trying to find a road i can follow. and im trying really hard because i would like to work for 343i and im trying to find a way that could be possible for me
If halo 6 is assuming the end of the chiefs career Im not at all opposed to 343 moving forward with new Spartans kinda what bungie did with ODST only more elaborated

there is a forerunner book trilogy i wouldnt have come up with inheritor if i didnt have something to back it up with. and inheritor would also make sense if the mastercheif did hand the series to a new main character, that character would inherit the role in the game
I kind of want the Main Halo games (numbered) to stop at 6 . . . I mean, I love Halo, but I don’t want it becoming one of those games that just gets so milked that the glorious past it had dies because of how repetitive it becomes.
I wouldn’t mind a few games to contribute further to the Universe, but not so many that it kills the series.

This. Would we really need that many Halo games? A series can only go on for so long before it gets tired, and then its best to put it to bed and move onto something else. I don’t want to risk Halo getting milked and becoming progressively worse. Another trilogy of games stretching a decade seems fine; another trilogy beyond that seems excessive, undesired, and unnecessary.

take a look at CoD they milk and milk and then they chocolate and strawberry milk…and still sell out more than anything… CoD 1 CoD 2 CoD 3 CoD 4 modern warfare CoD WaW CoD modern Warfare 2 CoD BO CoD MW3 CoD BO2 holy -Yoink- and u say halo will milk… and guess what CoD BO2 isnt the last
And Call of Duty has written themselves into a corner with their story. If the rumors are true, there will be a MW4…so yeah another war after WWIII. And then a few years after that oh look another war. Soon, I forsee the CoD franchise going multiplayer only.
Halo is more than that. I cannot see 6 games of fighting the same enemy.

The book trilogy doesn’t count though. It would break pattern with the fact that 4-9 would all be games. And then what would 1-3 be?
