Halo 4 Issues, Why are they in the game?

There’s so many new things wrong with this game and I’m not sure of the logic behind the changes and what they were possibly thinking. I have provided a list below of issues that I’m not sure why they’re in the game.

  • Why are there no weapons on the map hardly? Why take out random weapons and grenades when that is essential to Halo. - Following the first bullet, your ammo is so limited it’s a joke, are they aiming to keep people from staying alive a long period of time? - Why can’t you start out with Plasma grenades on BTB Team Slayer? - Why can’t you choose your Custom Loadout on BTB Team Slayer and only objective game types, do you realize how stupid that is? - Why can’t you shoot a Gauss Hog gunner in the head from the front of the warthog like you can a Machine Gunner in a regular warthog? Isn’t it already overpowered enough in this game? - Why are the warthogs yet again like feathers and roll and flip on every little thing on the ground? Who thought this didn’t need changed? - Why is the back flip on the banshee so insanely fast especially when the maps are insanely small and crammed? - Why are the respawn times on vehicles so insanely short? Especially for the Gauss Hog and Banshees? - Why is the default loadout for BTB Team Slayer encouraging grenade spamming by having the high explosive perk automatically on? I mean seriously… Are you kidding… - Last which is more of an opinion, why do you flinch when you take damage? Do you know how random that makes the game play and gun fights? Seriously…
  1. Sparse weapons on map was a deliberate decision made in order to place more emphasis on ordnance drops. Personally I think it’s a much better way to play than Halo 3 maps which were so littered with weapons that the guns you spawned with were virtually irrelevant.
  2. Yes, little ammo was also a deliberate design decision. One, helps prevent lengthy kill streaks. Two, you’re supposed to scavenge ammo from the dead - which is impossible because of the proliferation of mid-range guns. Three, you always have the “ammo” perk which lets you start with twice the number of bullets (unless you’re in MCC).
  3. You can. Unless you’re playing MCC. Ditch MCC and play H4 on the 360 - the way H4 was meant to be played.
  4. Yes, it is stupid. It should have been just the opposite. Classic settings for TS and Infinity settings for BTB.
  5. Who knows?

  7. Because a banshee is supposed to be a guaranteed rampage. Even Halo is not immune to bad design on occasion.
  8. I’m pretty sure it’s the same for almost all vehicles, and I’m also pretty sure that it’s no different than it ever has been in any other Halo. Could be wrong, but I’m pretty sure.
  9. Again, because the matchmaking kingpin at 343 thinks that Halo 4 should play like Halo 3 + sprint. He is wrong. Halo 4 should play like Halo 4.
  10. Another concession to “the way things used to be.” Because we all know that Halo 4 players don’t really want to play Halo 4. They want to play (say it with me here) Halo 3 + sprint. Face-palm.
