It seems like a bunch of people think Halo 4 is too much like CoD. I think otherwise. One game that comes to mind is Star Wars Battlefront 2. This game had hit-markers and killstreaks. You kill a certain amount if people, and you get endurance, a new gun, or turn into a Jedi. The new killstreak drops in Halo 4 are just like the drops from Halo 2. You would be playing Delta Halo, and a rocket launcher drops. They are not like care packages at all. Maybe Halo 2 is CoD?
I agree that these are in plenty of other games, but right now Call of Duty is the most popular game around. People gravitate towards popular games when making comparisons.
I like this comparison, considering battlefront was one of my favorite games, and Halo 2 remains my favorite game.

Both Battlefront and Battlefront 2 were great, I’m thinking about getting BF2 for the Xbox because I sold my PS2 a long time ago.
No one actually thinks that. Most people that even mention such thing only say it because they don’t have a real reason to dislike some of the features in the game. So they point their fingers at COD. Its a strawmans argument that you should just ignore.
By creating this thread, you have once again brought the feud of Halo 4 and Call of Duty into this forum. We do not need anyone to remind us that Halo 4 is almost nothing like CoD.

no, in battlefront, after a certain amount of kills without dying, you’d get a personal perk called “Endurance”. forgot what it did though…
COD is the same old crap. Its storyline is also really stupid. Its also faaar from realistic because in real life you dont see people regenerating in 5 seconds from bullet wounds. Plus blackops 2 is set in the future sooo. Please dont bring COD into the halo 4 forums please because it annoys alot of us because i really hate that game

This is one of the first threads I’ve seen where people say its NOT like cod(because it isn’t). Majority of the time it’s always people saying, “OMAGAWDDD!!! HALO IS LIK3333 COPYInG OFF OF COD DUDE!!!”
