The game at the moment feel’s like it has one leg forward and one leg backward.
The Forge Test playlist was a step in the right direction , after many player’s complained about the lack of small maps . 343i’s did a good job here and implemented something which has freshened up war games and put a smile on many people’s faces
But…
It still has one leg backward , stuck if so to speak . This is the title update . Many people wont play the game until the title update is released and issues are fixed like the balancing of guns etc. This is where Halo is stuck without the TU many people wont be coming back until it is back . The Forge Test playlist is only one step forward.

100% agree I dont like testing maps either. I do appreciate they are there however as the game only shipped with a very small amount of small maps.

How many maps would you have liked the game to ship with?
Also what really bothers me is that this forum screamed for a Halo 4 beta and now that you get to test Forge maps you don’t like the idea.

Because the game is already out , what game has a beta after it is already out ?? and i would have liked it to ship with about 16 minimum

He was referring to the number of a specific type of map, which is actually lacking.
And we wanted a beta when it could have made a significant difference, not after the product was supposed to be finished.
And for future reference, when you make a post with the sole intention of being a jerk to someone, stop.

I’d rather have Halo 4 just released around now after a successful beta then the state war games is currently in

True but they’ve deadlines they cant miss. They are a company after all. But I’d prefer what your saying as well.

16 Maps? No Halo game in the history of Halo has ever released with that many maps upon release (with the exception of Halo Wars, one of the best Halo games ever released, came close with 14 maps). That’s absurd.

I never said 16 brand new maps I would have liked to see about 12 new Maps and 4 remakes of the pit , ice fields , rat race and terminal

Well I wouldn’t get your hopes up. 343i isn’t in the mood to remake old maps and the one they did remake plays absolutely horrible.
I prefer to think of Halo like a majestic falcon with claws rather than legs… squawking and gliding in the crisp air of Yellowstone National Park, eating the mice that is COD with George Washington and the other dead presidents looking on with tacit approval

It’s not that 343 can’t make good maps, It’s about bringing the community and forgers together. Why would you complain about having new maps to play on anyway. I personally love all the maps in the forge playlist, especially shutout, brings back memories.
I would love to be able to forge a map and get it into the playlist, I never have many people to play halo with and I always want to make huge base take down maps but I don’t bother because I wont have anyone to play them with.
