Let me start by saying that ive been playing halo since ce so im no new comer to this. This game is the worst because it chose to copy cod. This has started with reach and idk why they did this no one asked for any of these loadouts or aas. This game is crap i cant stand one whole match of this anymore. Ive been keeping my mouth shut about how i feel on halo 4 until now. The inly good part of this game is the campaign.
here we go with more cod copying,it ain’t copying dude, its merely evolving more.
> here we go with more cod copying,it ain’t copying dude, its merely evolving more.
Well it evolved sideways rahter than forward.
The innovative part is really small compared to the imitative part.
it aint cod man,for one reason alone theres no drop shot
lol

Evolution doesn’t mean an improvement, it just means a change. That change can be good or bad.

Halo gameplay was from the start just a bunch of features from other games put together. It did it before, it’s catching up to the times by doing it again.
As long as the gameplay and feel is what it’s always been, it’s Halo.
Huh, well that’s nice OP. I’ll keep on with my view of Halo 2 being the worst in the series with broken weapon balance, rampant exploits that were never fixed, a lackluster campaign, and rotten community. We’ve all got our opinions after all.
And CoD did not invent loadouts or sprinting just so you know.
I have to disagree with you, and I have also been playing since CE. I enjoy Halo 4 quite a bit, even with the changes. I really don’t like CoD at all so I was originally apprehensive about the loadouts.
My main problem with the game actually has nothing to do with it. I listen to music on my xbox while playing, and from time to time my xbox disconnects from xbl randomly and I have to restart…it’s frustrating as all hell.
Anyway, the loadouts allow me to use weapons as I want, rather than having to play covie versions of gametypes or compete with teammates for them. It still feels like Halo to me, just with some improvements/changes. Yes there could be some tweaks, but I still enjoy playing it. I’m definitely looking forward to the forge maps and grifball over the next couple weeks.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but that is all it is…an opinion. I’m getting a bit tired of everyone stating their opinion as fact. If you don’t like the game, don’t play it. It is simple as that, coming onto the forums and bashing the game and devs doesn’t accomplish anything.
These complaint topics loose all credibility as soon as they claim that Halo 4 copied Call of Duty.
There are dozens of things that Halo 4 needs to fix but it did not, in any way “copy COD”. Every feature that Halo 4 has added was something that “COD” borrowed from another series.
Agreed.
Halo of Duty .

The game sucks.
The only thing I don’t like about halo 4 is that they’ve kicked the Custom game community right out the window. (Also throwing out a lighter to finish the rest off :C) since they won’t listen.
Lord…this again…

Halo gameplay was first RTS, then it became a Third Person Shooter and last an FPS.
Yes, it took features from other games, but it didn’t just take them, it made them work together.
Look at the playlist population and you’ll see that BTB is mostly the most played playlist.
Then think of the addition of sprint.
For sprint to be useful maps need to be larger, if we had smaller maps then sprint would be useless or we’d have crawling movement speed for it to be a usefull addition.
Most maps are very big and doesn’t do good in 4v4, this I believe is the reason why BTB is the most played playlist, atleast everytime I’ve decided to play. Because the maps are basicly only “playable” in BTB. I’ve barely touched 4v4 because of the maps.
Additions to Halo 4 seems to not have had any thought behind them, but was rather just added because other games use them, are they bad additions? Not neccesserily all, but some are.
For example, Ordnance as it is now destroys map balance, but with some small tweaks it could bring back balance while keeping most random factors. The “variety” some people want would still be in while the balanced gameplay some people want would be there.
Then there’s Insta Spawn, that is a feature I feel has no thought behind it, just added in because other shooters have it. Objective games were overlooked and as a result of that they were “broken”. I don’t think I had many CTF games where the game was won by reaching the goal score. Why? Because there was never that advantage of killing a player, he/she just teleported back to base to defend the flag.
Loadouts is said to be made so that players can choose weapons based on their playstyle. I however believe that rather than giving players more freedom it prevents them from being versitile and flourish, so it’s essentially an illusion. As you pick a loadout, you’re stuck with it until you die. Sure, weapons are changable but that’s that. You can’t cange your AA or “upgrades” and you’re stuck in that mode until you die. You can’t just change your mind about being defensive and switching to offensive because your loadout limits your offensive capabilities. Your skill was what limited what you could do efficiently, now it’s what you’ve equipped that’s limiting you. It wouldn’t be a problem if it was weapons and AA’s only, and AA’s were swappable without dying, but that’s not the case now.
Halo isn’t trying to catch up, it’s trying to be something other than it wasn’t before.
It shouldn’t try to catch up, neither should it try to be something it’s not. Halo should be it’s own thing and build on that, can it use features from other games? Yes, but those features should be made to function in the established game, not change the established game around the features, or just added.
U think this feels like halo?u get to choose ur weapon and ur secondary u get to choose perks u choose what kind or grenades you have, hell they even copied the scoring from cod! Plus they removed so many gametypes from previous halos juggernaught, race, vip, and headhunter. This game is the worst halo by far i even kept reach in my xbox for 4 months before going back to halo 3 this game only took me 3.
I consider halo 2 to be the worst halo to date.
unintended button glitches that could not be fixed due to the engine gives it the #1 ranking for me personally.
Honestly, it’s hard to take “this is the worst game” claims seriously. Every Halo game has been the worst of them to someone at some time. But whenever the next iteration comes about, every Halo game ascends to “decent” status at the very least, often claimed to be the “best.”
I mean, people think Halo 2 was the best Halo game. Man, they should talk to the people that were on the forums in 2004. Those guys thought Halo 2 was devoid of the Halo franchise soul.
Also i never thought id have to research about a halo game before buying it, i thought they learned from reach but i guess they didnt and decided to make it worse.
OP, instead of bashing the game, flaming the direction, SMASHING the developers’ choices.
How about some constructive criticism to help IMPROVE the game? Hating and venting will NOT solve anything.
