People, you need to calm down about all the changes going into Halo 4. It is still halo, and they are doing the best they can to keep it that way. Besides, they did include game story and characteristics with armor, AA, and specializations. The spartans are spartan IVs, so that is why the specializations are included in multiplayer. They want you to feel more advanced and powerful. Class customization will be a favorite to most because some people have their own favoritism of weapons and armor abilities. Even though these details are in other franchises, it is what people like about a game. 343 is listening to us, and what most of the community has wanted is what is now being implented into the game. There need to be some changes for the game to feel new, or it will die off.

Hey man I agree with you. While I loved the original Halo when it came out it feels rather dated to me now and I love the nostalgia of playing it but progress is a good thing. I keep hearing people whine, “The best Halo was the original!” and to that I respond “Good, play it. It’s $10. And if you want to play online buy the PC version. Whine a little more and maybe they’ll put it on steam… not.”

OP, I appreciate what you’re saying, but this won’t dissuade any of the haters. I see where you’re coming from, but I’ve learned that these kind of threads just pour fuel on the flame war.

This forum might as well split up the hater and lovers of Halo 4.

I locked this because threads like have always devolved into flame wars. People have different opinions, there is nothing that can be done to change that until the game comes out. I’m sure we’ll have people switching camps once it’s out and people who were looking forward to it are disappointed and vice versa.
