The Halo 4 campaign is very boring, monotonous and repetitive… What -Yoink- it is 343i?
Halo CE campaign was bestial.
Halo 2 campaign was very good.
Halo 3 campaign was the best.
Halo 3 ODST was good.
Halo Reach campaign was very very good.
Halo 4 campaign… booooooring!!
Not many a lot of units like Halo 3/Reach, not many bigger maps, is very lineal and the end is bland.
The campaign was really good but I guess I could nit pick at it a little.
like the first hog you got up untill the first battle on the second level was lacking. playing solo you cant use the hog and even if you have a gunnar the fuelrod grunts take the hog out to easy. then after that one little battle, you have to ditch the hog. If vehicles were more durable in the campaign It would of been better. The campaign was really enjoyable though. tiny things here and there like going through a portal just to end up in a room thats the same thing as the first, just to go through a portal. Its not a big issue at all just a (yup ok?) feeling.
The only thing I didn’t like about the campaign are the silly cut-scenes that require input from the player to continue. Are they afraid I’m not looking or something?
“Press RB to kill Elite.”
“Press LT to plant grenade”
“Press RT to detonate bomb”
lol, come on. OK, Master Chief is struggling to climb up and Cortana saves his life, I get it, I don’t need to hold the control stick forward to feel it.
Bungie didn’t make anyone hold a stick forward when MC was clawing up to Cortana on the Hammer of Dawn and dodging a falling tank and it was just as engaging.
I’m seeing this sort of thing in a lot of new games, actually. And, honestly, it make me feel LESS immersed.
I thought the campaign was alright, maybe missing a good scarab fight but I can’t have everything that I desire. The end “fight” was my only real disappointment. I had saved incendiary cannon ammo especially for shoving up the didact’s rear end. "/
Halo 3’s Campaign was nowhere near the best IMO it was where it started to turn from an amazing epic, into a more mediocre experience.
I kind of like Halo 4’s Campaign though. It’s one of the only things I like about it.
Halo CE was an incredible introduction to an incredible universe.
Halo 2 was the perfect sequel and the most epic Campaign in the franchise.
Halo 3 was a disappointing follow up to Halo 2.
Halo Wars had a decent story, but Ensemble really sucked the UNSC’s… you know. And portrayed it as if the Covenant wasn’t even really a big threat.
ODST was a nice side-plot with an interesting spinoff vibe.
Halo Reach was bland, boring, and created ALOT of plot holes and contradictions in the fiction.
And Halo 4 started out kind of silly and cartoonish, but evolved as it progressed into a pretty epic story and overall Campaign, with a few completely pointless quicktime events that give it negative points.

The constantly deloading AI really put a wrench into my plans.
I admit, the graphics look nice. But hell, Halo 3, which has older graphics, looks just the same to me. I have to really stare at things to see the lack of detail.
I’d have preferred they had fulfilled Bungie’s promises of having 60 AI on the screen at once.
Look this stuff up and you’ll know what I mean:
CE megabattles
Halo 2 marine army, Elite army
Halo 3 Flood armies, Brute armies, marine armies, Hornet army
