Bungie Diversified their marines and scientists. There were Australians, africans, romanians… all sorts. Sort of fits something with the words ‘United nations’ in it.

Halo 4 has a total of one black guy with a name. I haven’t seen any asians. There is one human character… ONE human character. Not two, One… who isn’t an american. Coincidentally irish… America’s favourite type of foreigner. And i think that’s because of the standard and lazy group dynamics of american media that applies to majestic.

One Race guy
One foreigner
One leader, obviously the most american. We hated this in reach too.
A cool/heroic one. Who’s usually also very american.
One female, who takes an additional role.

Even the scientists are all american.

AMERICANS THE SUPERIOR RACE WHO SAVE THE GALAXY.

It’s not racist for not actively including every race.

You are just fishing for reasons.

Priceless…

I lol’d when I saw this thread… Stop finding things to complain about just to complain.

You are crazy.

Fireteam Crimson has someone from every -Yoink!-, race and nationality in its ranks.

Wtf, I dont even…

American? You mean white?

I’ve seen all races in the game.

I agree to disagree about this lifeless, time wasting complaining

omg americans making more american characters who new!

What is this I don’t even…

This isn’t going end well for the OP, I know so from personal experience. But besides from that, I agree with the OP for the most part. Since Infinity is deemed “the next step forward for humanity”, one would expect a more diverse cast of characters.

However I disagree with you about Reach. NOBLE team felt pretty diverse in my opinion; it really felt like each one of them strongly represented a different human ethnicity, creed, and culture.

Yeah…and if they were all Asian or Black or …whatever you would still be calling them racist… so what is nxt?

does it matter?

like, at all?

Made me LOL and yeah bungie did like Emil was a black guy kat had weird accent and george was sorry I forgot I know it was a midlleast country but don’t remember halo 4 its like

1 color guy and its like Hoye… I mean like Chieftan hoye… its a really african name for the only black guy on halo

now emil its like… emil cool fresh normal emil n.n

There’s a trend. Unintelligent threads seem to be at the top of the forum, while intelligent ones are on the bottom. It’s a shame…

I agree with the OP, multi-ethnic and nationality representation in this game is very poor. 343 dropped the ball in terms of that.

People who disagree are more than likely doing so from a privileged perspective. They don’t think it’s racist because a lot of them are already being represented. They don’t have to even think about seeing characters who look like them because there are plenty already.

Well yeah since 343i are developing a series with lore surrounding the preservation and success of the entire human species. They even created a ship, the UNSC Infinity, which is considered to be the next step forward for humanity. So it helps to project a advanced and diverse cast of characters, instead of just AMERICA IN SPACE. It helps the game’s fiction, sense of realism, reception, and even sales. Depictions of race in media is a very important thing to consider.

The way some of the marines act I wouldn’t want them to be like me…

Who are you agreeing with?..
