I have been playing Halo since Halo 1. I was like friken 10 years old. I cannot explain how much i love this game. And i MUST say, 343 you did an EXCELLENT job with halo 4!
This will be the 1st Halo i will ever play Campaign in. That is how good i think halo 4 is. I am a player where no matter the game, i ONLY play multilayer. But in this case i believe i NEED to play campaign b/c it will be a lot of fun.
<mark>But seriously, no matter the boosting, flaming, all the other bs, halo 4 NEEDS a visible ranking system. Even COD is implementing it. From what i can see, 343 does not seem to be very competitive. Call yourself what you want, a casual or a competitor. You casuals are still competitive and i know it. I’ve heard this through my headset even in social playlists through out Halos.</mark>
I will probably get flamed for saying this, but i seriously only do play for rank. As much as i hate Reach, if that game had 1-50 i would be playing it till this day. And honestly, i was bored with that game after a month of playing it. I actually sold it, missed it and thought i could give it another shot, bought it again, 2 days later i sold it again. No rank = no fun.
I seriously just don’t see how you can cater to only 1 side of your players. Its like being a mom and only loving one of your children and not caring about the other one.
I completely agree, I would have logged many more hours playing Reach if it had a visible ranking system. It’s addicting, plain and simple.
And what is Cod’s ranking system like? I might be making a switch here if a certain game developer doesn’t start listening to its community soon!!!

If rank was visible you would probably be one of those guys who creates a million threads to make it invisible.

To me thats not what makes Halo great and I don’t give two damns if CoD has it. Halo 4 looks like it could be better than Halo 3 and if the fact that the true skill system isn’t visually represented ruins the whole multiplayer experience for you then I’m just dumbfounded. Gameplay feedback from people who’ve played at E3, Pax, ect is mostly positive appraisal of 343 doing an amazing job. No visible trueskill ranks shouldn’t matter. As long as there is a system traking your performance and matching you effectively with people of your skill level it should not matter.

I have read ohhh 4 books. Played every game…
Reach was ummm god awful. Well the Mp was awful. Arena omg made me cry!
So yes true fans have hated Reach…

Seems like you got what you wanted from 343. But we didn’t, and why should you get what you want but we can’t? Why can’t you have your social playlists and we have our ranked playlists?
I’m sure a lot of us would be very happy to even receive 1 ranked playlist. Compared to your 10 social ones.

Multi Accounting, he has around 10 accounts created and all about the same topic. All created today. At almost same time.
