There is honestly no point in playing Halo 4 multiplayer if you are playing solo.
Random team members leave, troll, are AFK, are pathetically bad and the enemy is always better because they are grouped friends playing together.
You can’t win and you can’t complete commendations that require wins.
I can’t play with friends because they have all given up on this -Yoink- game.
343i designed a game thinking it will be amazing and everyone will love it and the populations will be high and everyone will have friends who will want to play it and no one will be playing solo so we don’t have to worry about that and no one will dare criticize our game.
Well, you know what, -Yoink- that. The only game type left to me is skid mark Rumble Pit and lets be honest,its no Lone Wolves.
Once again I’m forced to leave a game I enjoy and have spent my money on because of population levels.
All of the Halos have sort of been like this. It’s always better to play with a party rather than playing alone. You are kind of right though, it sucks more to play by yourself in this game.

This is nothing new. Halo has been that way since 2001. I find all games more fun with friends.
I usually play alone and have a good time but all games are more fun with friends.
(I’ve never beeen able to play cod without friends because I find it very boring so I probably understand how you feel though)

Welcome to the halo universe. This has almost always been the case. The only one that it wasn’t necessarily true for was Halo Wars, but that either matched you with all randoms or you partied up and went to a lobby for parties.
At least going into ranked games solo you got matched with players of similar skill. That vanished after Halo 3 though. Partially had it in Reach with Arena.
So I just recently found out that all mics and private chat symbols you see in the pregame and voting screen are your teammates, it matches you guys up before the actual voting starts, you can’t see if the other team is partied up until after the game…which is stupid.
Not necessarily, Games that are similar to halo, it is always good to have a friend on your side. Unless you play FFA.
The game is getting better and better since day 1. And we can all agree that the first version of any game sucks because of the flaws that were in the game.
Yes sort of killed the community a bit for me, well it seem’s I only bother play the multiplayer these days when I have friend’s but forge custom game’s are pretty much dead in Halo 4.
The game hasn’t improved at all since release so just making do until H5 or w/e it’s called is shipped.

OP, most Team Based games like Halo or Battlefield require teammates to play. The only game where this doesn’t really matter is Call of Duty since an individual player is given powerful weapons, perks, ridiculous auto aim and large cones of bullet spread.
I recommend you hit up Halo Waypoint, or reddit.com/r/halo to find some teammates. I’m sure a lot of people would play with you.
Add and make buddies with some people you meet online, find people here on Waypoint (Recruiting section would probably be most helpful), or add some people you know in-person on LIVE who will play some Halo with you.

But you’re right, I can’t stand Halo playing solo more than any other game. It sucks because even though a large portion of my Xbox LIVE friends are Halo Waypoint members, they’re not on playing Halo.
Yes, Halo 4 is the worst game for that, it seems the averag players skill is negative, judging from some of my teammates…
yeah i agree, my fav gametype is capture the flag, but whenever i play it, my team are camping at the base and i’m the only one playing offencively, then i get killed by 4 people it’s no fun :(.
